Rift: Closed Beta VIP Code Giveaway - Day 3 [UPDATED]

Trion Worlds and MMORPG.com have partnered to give away 500 VIP beta keys for the upcoming fantasy MMORPG Rift: Planes of Telara. We'll be giving out 100 of these keys each day on a first come first serve basis, so if you don't snag one today you're still in luck!

Rift: Planes of Telara is a fantasy MMORPG developed and published by Trion Worlds. In Rift, the world of Telara is being invaded by six different planes (fire, earth, air, water, life, death) through tears in the world called "Rifts." Players fighting for either the Guardian or Defiant factions are tasked with keeping the planar forces at bay in order to save Telara and drive back the forces of the game's villain, Regulos, the dragon god of extinction.

The aforementioned rifts make up the game's dynamic content features, as the rifts can open up in any part of the game world. The forces that spill out of these rifts will seek to spread their influence throughout the game world and even take over territory, leaving both a tangible and visible mark upon the game world.

Rift: Planes of Telara also features the "Soul Attunement" system, which essentially allows players to multi-class. Different souls are acquired throughout the course of the game and up to three can be arranged at a time to create a build. Builds can be stored for use in several loadouts, allowing players to prepare different builds for different situations.

If you're interested in getting involved in the Rift: Planes of Telara closed beta, simply post your request in the thread below (please no discussions) and the first 100 requests will be locked in to claim their keys at a claim page to set up after the thread has been locked.

The Rift: Planes of Telara closed beta will kick off on December 3, 2010, with the initial event featuring the game's first 20 levels. Players wtih VIP codes are guaranteed access to each and every beta event, so be sure to grab a key! And remember, if you don't manage to get a key today, we'll be giving out another 100 keys on Friday, November 26, 2010. There will be no giveaway tomorrow due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
