Problems on Launch Day
Seems people were missing EP (skill points). They've decided to roll back servers to launch time (1PMEST eta). That's 4-5 hours people lost of game time. I for one mined, during that entire period... all lost.... this is not a troll, but more of post for all to see how the devs will handle this.... Ores, loot, Nic, EP, Purchases, all game in actions are back 5 hours... that means alot of things lost.
I will keep this posted updated...

As far as i am aware, rollback will be limited to EP and Nic.
yea they said that they are just removing the skills we bought in the last few hours, and refunding us the ep [so no lose of anything people have done]. just a reset so people haver a clear view of the ep they should have. instead of keeping the extensions they bought [skills] and leaving them with a posiblity of having negative ep.
So i dont see the issue, nothing lost but the time the server is down to play [as we still are gaining ep]
Nothing lost? what about all the things you did for 5 hours on launch day? I consider that a loss.
I happened to purchase skills for my alt, a new bot, and mined... so I lost alot.
momodig you did not lose that. Only the EP will be restored... And if you bought some extensions you will need to buy them again. You did not lose anything not even one single EP. All you lost was some game time during the server down time. So take a chill pill.
What I'm saying is during that 5 hours roll back people did loose something... your saying they lost nothing... but they did...so I'm just pointing out your statement isn't accurate. People can accomplish alot in 5 hours game play...
What people seem to forget... yes you gain skill points for everyminute, but you aslo gain wealth, items, loot for everyminute you play aswell.. so all and all it's loosing something
No you gonna lose evrything you dont have at the lunch of the game. You only gonna stay whit the ep you have gain whit the time (i am not sure if you caratere gonna be deleted)
Do some research on the game forums, some people would rather have the NIC back then the EP... so I know people have DEFINITALLY lost stuff.
Momodig you still don't understand do you? They wont do a rollback of NIC and Items only the extensions bought and the EP will be restored as if you did not buy any extensions at all.
Or maybe i have misunderstood the whole thing? Did i miss some information?
I do understand, you don't seem to understand. 5 hours of game time is gone, vanish, no longer there, not existant -lol- So things ARE lost... It's like play EQ 1 8 years ago... level 60, taking 5 hours to get one level, and they roll back to level 60 again.... that's 5 more hours your are going to have to play to catch up...
Yeah actually you missunderstood, they're doing a full rollback to launch state (6 hours ago), which seems to include just about everything. However they'll probably reimburse us in some way, but that hasn't been announced.

We looked into all kinds of solutions, but the rollback is the only one that won't cause more problems. As a compensation we're going to extend the validity of every account on the server by 2 days.
I think the confusion is that momodig believes that loot, nic, ep and everything else will be reset to 6 pm.
Daxxar seems to believe that only ep will be reset to 6 pm ( and then refunded again. )
So in short if you had 10 items, 1000 nic and 100 ep at 6 pm and 20 items, 2000 nic and 200 ep when the server went down then according to momodig when you log back in you'll be at 10 items, 1000 nic and 200 ep while according to daxxor you'll be at 20 items, 2000 nic and 200 ep.
I'm not sure which one is right. We'll have to wait and see.

Yeah I just read that ingame, not that I doubted that you guys wouldn't find a way to compensate us. Even though this rollback happened I'm still as impressed at how well you guys are handling this release. Thumbs up!
XD the 2 day is the 25 and the 26 december. So you dont gonna play this 2 day
The GMs explicitly stated before they brought the servers down that only the EP spent on skills today would be rolled back. I believe, as others have stated, that rollback also includes the NIC spent on those skills that will be rolled back. Which means you get a massive refund of EP and NIC (if you spent it on skills.)
Edit: Or maybe I misread the GM alert. /sigh
Edit2: My bad. Forums are crystal clear--it's a full rollback to 6 PM. /heavy sigh
.... Go check the official forum, they're doing a FULL rollback, which is why we're getting 2 days for free.

Ah your probably right.
I think its funny how flawless the early access launch was in comparison. Not to insult the devs. Launch day issues happen, even to fully funded companies with tons of employees. This is a setback, but its still a great game and I'm still excited about it.

I'll gladly send the server guys our leftover turkey if they can get it up and running! Does Hungary have a version of Thanksgiving?
