DO NOT CLICK ANY OF THESE LINKS!!!!!!! Unless you want your account stolen!!
No wonder so many people are getting thier b-net accounts hacked. I am going to post all the bogus attempts from my e-mail here and would like to see others do the same. Some of them really look authentic except for the pisspoor spelling and odd sentence structures. No way this can be for real.
My entire e-mail is as follows>>>>

THIS IS COMPLETE AND UTTER BULLSHIT
It you even go to this site from this link your b-net account will be stolen! That's all it takes! Period.
I am kinda curious as to whether that phone number is even authentic. I havent called it ..
Gotcha!
I have an inactive WOW account which is pretty old, and I am receiving 5-6 mails a month telling me that my account is compromised or used for illegal activity. All emails are appear to be sent from blizzard and look valid, and they all contain links to enter your account information or so.
If you do not know how to verify the sender address of an email (there are ways for this), do not reply or click the links on such emails. When I verify such emails original sender address, I always end up in some hotmail accounts. Let me warn you again, you do not see the hotmail address as sender, these emails appear to be originated from blizzard email accounts! Be careful about such emails, these emails are sent to takeaway your characters and items by getting control of your Wow accounts
It just seems to me that Blizzard could do an IP trace on these kinda of e-mails (some of these really do look authentic) And put a stop to this crap!
This is a new type of e-mail i just got that appears to be an attempt to even go as far as stealing an account that has an authenticator attached to it! Amazing. And people wondr how they got thier account stolen!!
I have 2 email addresses and haven't played WoW since 2005 or so (give or take a few scroll of resurrections). I get at least 4 a day in each mailbox of these scams, some I get double of. I just wish these scammers would go away. I feel sorry for people who actually play the game and one day it really is Blizzard emailing them that their account has been stolen/compromised. You will never know if it truly is a legit email.
They really need to do something though about them.
They are committing major identity fraud against a huge corporation. I can only imagine the scope of this kind of a lawsuit blizzard could bring against these people. They should dig a very deep hole underneath the prison just for these people!
All authentic blizzard e-mail will always say
Blizzard Entertainment on the header of the e-mail..........so far anyways but I would still be very careful when opening one
I have been using copy and paste from my notepad to log in to all my games here lately
If they steal my Starcraft 2 account words will not be adequate to describe my level of "pissed off"
I finally transferred my 2004 WoW account to Battle.net this year and found my account safe and intact. I had plenty of emails to click on and lose that info though, but with some common sense I knew they were all fake emails. Though I have to admit a few almost did get me to click them. They are getting smarter but it is a good thing that I know they used the wrong email account.
I am just glad I don't play the game anymore. I would be scared also, it is too easy to get hacked in WoW.
Speaking of WoW scam-mail. On my main email account I get about 2 or 3 of these DAILY. This email I use for the majority of my game registrations.
On my secondary email account I had never received 1 WoW scam-email and I use the email primarily for work related emails. That was until I got into the beta for an upcoming SOE game. Registered with this email account because I had issues using my main email account. The next day I started receiving WoW scam-mail in my inbox and have received 1 per day since.
Could it be a coincidence? I guess so, but it would be one hell of a coincidence considering I haven't signed up for anything else with that email for months.
"There is as yet insufficient data for a meaningful answer."
I don't even have an account with Blizzard and I get 3-4 of those emails a day....
if i see e-mail title with blizzard claim i go to main website the real one i put in favorites and login to see account status. if anything is wrong it wont say active or frozen. i wont even open any e-mail little alone link in them. even if it is real.
Ok I am gonna go "Pwn sum noobs" in Starcraft 2 now. (Is it wrong for me to speak like that..i'm 50 yrs old! Snyways....if anyone wants to join me add Psyrix to friends :594
If you recieve an official e-mail from Blizzard, it always has your first name in the greeting
I.E. Greetings Bob or whatever.
All mine have anyway . Check your official e-mails, see if they have it.
Blizzard can also write proper English, unlike these scammers. Should tip people off right away.
Honestly, almost all the WOW scam e mails I get have the worst run on sentences and grammar, it s impossible to not see they re scams.
