Xbox 360 May Get Cable-Like Online Subscription Service

I already have a cable service, why would I want this ? The 360 is turning into a social media center instead of a platform for gaming it seems.

Its a bad idea, Apple TV then Microsoft is going to try and get in on that, when its probably not going to go well for either as Google TV is already starting to take flight. It would just be better for Microsoft to adopt Google TV for the 360 and save them the expense while expanding their console.
If they don't do it, we may see Sony do it, and that could hit Microsoft pretty hard.
I stand firmly behind Sony as a console producer so this is good news to me.
but yeah, to call this game Fantastic is like calling Twilight the Godfather of vampire movies....
interesting concept I will say.. I am not sure how this will work... I have noticed with microsoft it either works great or it will flop.. however if it does succeed wounder if they will get a virus?.. Don't get me wrong I love the 360, the more it can do I guess the more microsoft will make for people to have the system = more revenue in games.
Seems pointless and not needed. Microsoft will spend all this money developing and pushing the technology, only to find that few people will switch unless they come up with a REALLY competitive business strategy. Also, as someone in the comments section of that article said, what would happen if you has multiple T.V.'s? You can only be logged into your xbox live account on one T.V.
