How come i saw giveaway 20mins after it started?

I just sat there like a mong, it is now 22:47GMT and i saw it roughly 10minutes ago around 22:37GMT, but the giveaweay says it began at 10:17GMT and i've being the F5 bash since quarter to 9 (21:45GMT).... so what happened exactly? I dont know much about unfairness and i don't want to seem selfish but really Mike? Really?

    For alot of us the forums server time is 10 mins behind. Least from what i've noticed

    yep he same crap happen to me.  i sat here and constantly refreshed and when  i finally saw it, it was on pages 20 something when i sat here and refreshed every few seconds.  what ripoff for people that really sat here and did it right.

    I was actually refreshing MikeB's post history and instantly saw it when it was posted.

    Didn't trust any other page as with previous attempts failed me.

    mmorpg.com's site really wasnt very good at handling the traffic this giveaway generated.  They pretty much dropped the ball.  Hence the time/lag issues.
