Everyone is talking about switching to guild wars but i dont think it is that great at all. It only seems good because WoW has been out alot longer and ppl think guild wars is more fresh. Guild wars isnt really an MMO i dont think it seems just like a multiplayer online game. Also many ppl are switching to games like Star wars galaxies, DAOC everquest2 lineage eve... etc. Which one do you think is the best???

Loyal to WoW and Blizzard. World of Warcraft has this weird fell to it that just makes me like it more than the rest of the competition. World of Warcraft's updates will come, sice Blizzard are making sure they'll be perfect. I have great faith in Blizzard to do a good job. All the other Blizzard games I played in the past, Starcraft, Warcraft III, and now WoW have been the highlights of my life. I'm sure WoW will be no different.
WoW still kicks ass. I'm still not bored with it and I've been playing since release. It's still the best game out their IMO.
Already switched, my character is maxed and I was bored as hell so I re-activated SWG... Then days later got butchered by the CU and now I think i've tried every big MMO out there.
The only one left I have to play is Eve Online...
Yeah, I'd do Betty....
But I'd be thinking about Wilma.
Yeah I picked up GW still not sure what to think about it. It was pretty cool the first couple times playing in the pvp arena, but it's already kind of lost it's luster. It's definitely not bad for a one time $50 though.
Already cancelled my account. Going to try out Guild Wars, and maybe go back to Planetside for a bit.
A lack of things to do at end-game, and the support flat out sucks from Blizzard.

I ain't going no where! Hell I still need my lightforge boots!
Seriously I'm gonna pick up GW to check it out personally, but it would never take the place of my current MMO. GW is more like a side order to go along with your main course MMO.

I think wow is one of the best, but the so called honor system without battlegrounds is getting really old fast. Before the honor system didnt even think of another mmpg to play until the honor system and the tournament style weekly. I knew it was coming. Caught me off guard how bad it sucks for casual gamer. Last week I couldnt play with work schedule so got maybe in a week 4 hours. I dropped 300 in rankings. Like they said takes awile to lose ranking, but even harder to make up for it. Just noticed that coh has pvp areanas and in the future the cov.
Funny thing happened last couple of days with wow. One of the new pvp servers got some guests transfered over from a pve server. the gm posted cause of harassement issues. Transfered some a guild already 60 lvl and end game drops. Wasnt even a schedule transfer, but from pve server to pvp. After enought people pissed off. Blizz sent them back to there origanial server and said sorry

Which FF Character Are You?
I'll stay with WoW for as long as I'm having fun. I don't stick around in games hoping things get better in the future, etc. I play games to have fun, not to be loyal to a company or "reward" big ideas that have yet to materialize.
As for Guild Wars - maybe. If WoW loses its appeal to me, I might give it a shot. Or maybe something else.
Im playing both.
Guildwars is going to be fun for a while but im sure ill get bored of it eventually.

Pvp = godliness
Playing: WoW
Waiting on: Gods and Heroes
Got bored so cancelled already. No other games interests me so i'm just waiting for level cap increase and heros which won't be for a long while.
Banned from Blizzard cause I was too GOOD!!!
still here, still playing, still having fun.
Also picked up GW to try it out. But i doubt i will stop WoW for that game. Nothing against it, mind you.

As far as games go...i am not loyal to anything or anyone but myself. i could give a rat's ass who made the game. if it's fun i'll play it and love it, but if it gets old i'll drop it in a second.
For the record, i just reactivated my DAoC account after 2 years off. Alot of new features makes it feel like a new game.

Im gona stay loyal to Blizzard! ... realy got no chance to dont... i have bought a 6 month fee
but not gona quit after those 6 month.
I play GW and WoW at same time but WoW is realy best, GW dosent have as many "happy hours" as WoW... but both are great games
Let me start out by saying I haven't played WoW, and I do play GW.
From what my friends tell me, and from the majority of posts I've read about WoW, many powergamers have already maxed out a couple chars, and there is nothing to do once that happens, except start another char/class. I hear a lot say they love it, great game, but they are bored and already looking for something else.
With GW, it's MOSTLY ABOUT the endgame. Everything up to that is preliminary fun and games and skill collecting. Once you max out your toon, now the fun begins. 8 vs 8 GvG to advance up the ladder takes skill and cooperation with your team. Strategy is much more important, and team balancing is important.
The BIGGEST complaint I see Wow players, and others say about GW, is that 'after a couple hours of pvp I'm bored, it sucks'. Well, guess what. If you just make a lvl 20 template toon right from the start, and jump into the pvp, it CAN suck after awhile, because you think that's all there is. People NEED to start a level 0 RP character to experience the rest of the game as well. Your premade template toon only has 8 skills, and you can only add more if you have a rp toon that gets them. Then they become unlocked for all your toons, even the template ones. Only having 8 skills to use does become old fast. A little questing with your rp toon will take care of that, and make it much more fun.
Even if you only want a lvl 20 toon and pvp, it can still be worth it, because if you just have an hour or 2 to kill, (so to speak), you can just jump in and start whacking on people in the random team arenas. Or you can pick and choose a team, then go whacking. It's great for a casual gamer, or the hardcore guild centered battle gamer as well.
