How am I supposed to use a buddy key if I need my buddy's CD's?!

A new friend of mine recently was kind enough to give me a Buddy key to use. However, seeing as how they live worlds apart from me, how am I supposed to try FFXIV if I need THEIR install CD's to even use the buddy key and try the game?
Did SE not understand that friends are no longer only a couple doors apart from each other, but tend to be ENTIRE counties apart from each other?

I was going to ask people for a buddy key too but if this is the case it's going to be hard lol.
You can find places to download the client/installer. I'm not sure if it's entirely legal, but I would assume so since there is no other way to get the client aside from physically using your buddy's CDs.
U can torrent it. I got my copy from torrent as I bought without box copy.
