Yep,
Ratings are dropping, people are leaving as they come and go.
GW isnt like everyone expected it to be and in some past post's (Do a search) alot of people as well as myself said GW wont last..Will get boring VERY fast.
I'm just watching the ratings drop and drop.
There is NO Content whatsoever...It's all fine and dandy till you hit Lvl 20..then it's all about PvP. And thats it!

And before any say go elsewhere if I want to down GW I say why? I am DISCUSSING a game and all input good and bad is welcome here.

So it's all about some lame rating? Not every game appeals to every player. There's as much divercity here as there is in people on this planet. Every game has a decline after launch, people buy it, play it, and either like it or dont. To count some small and insignificant rating on a web site does not count the thousands of people playing that could careless about some rating on a website about the game.

the ratings dont really matter anyway, everyone seems to think that people are proud of the rating that the game has. I couldnt care less if the game had a 1 because i know that this is the game for me.

this isnt the only site to rate you know
if you look at other game sites, GW is fricking owning. sites such as gamespot,games extreme,game winner,etc, all have GW pretty high in ranking. mmorpg is more competetive perhaps in ranking because of the focused game area of just mmorpgs....and trolls....from WoW. but looking on ALL the new releases, GW is doing pretty good.
anyways, thats not a big issue, because smack down GW is awesome, everyone knows it too.

True Guild Wars is a Differnet kind of MMORPG, And some may like it, some may not... But for anyone who doesn't Own the retail game to even Review it is pretty Childlike. I would never Go Rate WOW before at least trying it, (I mean retail, not beta)
Actually has more content to me due to i can't stand walking for 20 min killing the same 2 types of monsters untill my LvL is high enough to kill something else... Just my take on alot of the current MMORPG's out there today, however I can't say what game or games are or not like this cause ive only tried a small handfull
Guild Wars Will Do Well No Matter What PPl That Love Other Games due to tarnish the rating, they'll be here eventually when the monthly fees go up some more

I dont care about flames or whatnot. A discussion (Good or bad) is what these games need to put them in their rightful place.

Dont go off whining and insulting people personally when they come here and speak their mind about the game (Loser, Fanboi, ect) because it wont even phase me. It just shows frustration of the fact that cant handle self control based on the feelings they express when something is said or done in opposition of their own outlook.

The problem now thou is that too many people complain and they nerf the whole aspect of PvP to cater to "Carebears"(Dont really want to use this term).
GW is the same way...PvP ranking system benefits ect? What are they? What will being the famous PvPDude19958 do for me? "My Guild can beat up your Guild" ...translated "My dad can beat up your dad"? What is the long term goal?

BTW for those that think I didnt get GW (I bought it to be proven wrong, but I was mistaken) just to prove my views here I will make a new character and name him LANEO. My God, i turn my PC on log into my account and do a quicj search on these forums and every time there is one of these threads. I myself are far from a 'fan boiy' of Guild Wars but i do have the game and I DO play it and LIKE IT.
Sometimes the low level of maturity on these forums astounds me, its pathetic little children like the person who started this thread and the many more people who have started threads just like this one that drives me away from these forums. Ok fine you dont like the game does that doesn't mean you have to come here and say bluntly what YOU think over and over again.
There are many people who enjoy playing this game and it just infuriates me when people are constantly leveling this game to WoW and the mindless idiots in there thousands pour from WoW here to start threads saying "Guild Wars SoXoRz WOW FoReVeR!" please grow up.
I am only pointing this to those who ARE acting like this and not the mature people who play WoW because there are many many and i'm only using WoW as a example because it is the one that comes up most frequently on these forums.

I dont care about rating and all but this part is so wrong if you would have searched a bit for information or tryed the game you would know that this far from true. This is probably the first game that i so dont care aabout level i did not try to hit 20 and enjoyed doing quest and mission, the world is big you can explore a lot, this game aim every market, pve and pvp player ca relly enjoy it. Im usualy more a pve player but pvp in this game is relly addicting, its not about who is the higher level but about skil and strategy.
Please people when you post something , know what your talking about dont go post false thing about game you dont event know.
Im think i can considere myself as a fanboi now, i played most of the game out there(the first i tryed was meridian 59 lol) but this is the only one i relly defend lol, and for reason. its a great game.
