PLaystation plus users will get DCUO PS3 beta

Coming soon to all PlayStation Plus subscribers is a free download of the beta for Sony Online Entertainment’s newest MMORPG, DC Universe Online, from the PlayStation Plus section in the PlayStation Store. From there, they can create their own super hero (or super villain) and take an adventure through Jim Lee’s vision of the DC universe. We will have more information on the exact timing of the beta in the near future, so be sure to keep your eyes on the blog.

    It will be nice to see how people feel toward this game on a consol.

    I am looking forward to this one,  be nice to have an MMO  on a console.  Not that i will stop playing on the PC  but something that is new, refreshing  and fun  that i can kick back on the couch  and play  for a couple hours  appeals to me.

    Knew it and here you have it, soe making the first greedy move = paying for beta. Open betas are supposed to be a stresstest and not some sort  of pay for it thing.

    We need a MMORPG Cataclysm asap, finish the dark age of MMORPGS now!

    of course  someone  would whine about this,  PS plus  was advertised well before  it came out  that one of the perks  would be  preferred access to Beta's.

    This is not the first Beta  for PS plus users,  and along  with a ton of other beneifts,  i have regained my sub fee ten-fold back  by  subbing.

    And if i recall correctly, " Preorders"  you know  people  who order and pay for the game  Before it comes out  also  get beta access.

    Giving beta to the ones that pre-order its a great idea tho

    You see, if you bought it, you will want that product to be as polished as ever, so you will be motivated to do more feedbacks

    Sony Online Entertainment have nothing to do really with Sony Computer Entertainment you know that right?

     

    Probably SOE offered Beta on ps3 SCE decided to offer it for PS+ users.

    Iam not saying that SOE is not greedy just the fact that Beta will go in ps+ packet has nothing to do with it becouse ps+ money wont go to SOE

For all of our fans interested in pre-ordering to receive a beta key or for those that already pre-ordered the game and submitted a valid pre-order receipt to our website, we sent you a PC Beta Key and you should have received it by now – if you gave us a valid email address.  The PS3 keys are not available yet, but will be coming soon, also via email.  By the way, if you did not receive a key and you did upload a valid pre-order receipt with your current email to our promo on dcuniverseonline.com/betakey, please resubmit we are going to continue sending out keys periodically.  We hope that if you did receive the PC Beta key and are not able to use the key yourself you give it to a friend who might also want to join the DCUO beta and can use it.  Any friend of yours is a friend of ours!  We are very excited tohave your help in the play testing process to ensure that we build a fun and stable game.?
