Is there any way to still get into the beta?

Hello everyone! 
I just recently bacame aware of this game even though I'm searching for a new mmo since months.
Don't get me wrong. I heard the name of the game quite often and knew it would be a superhero-mmo. But since CoH was such a big letdown for me I didn't really triy to get more specific information about it.
Three days ago a friend of mine told me many things about the game and how he thinks this might become really good. So I started reading into it and watching many videos and since then I'm really excited for this game.
Today I tried to sign up for the already running beta and was kinda shocked that there doesn't seem to be a possibility to at least sign up fot it. Even if I preorder the game now I would only be let into the beta 1 week prior to launch if I'm reading the info on the official page correctly.
Does anyone know if it's still possible to get a beta-invite any other way? Because when searching for it all i found were obvious scammers offering key-generators which we all know will work great and never contain trojans

I just got an invite this morning so it looks like they are still being sent out.
Did you get your key from preordering? and if so, did you preorder before 15. nov.?
Or did you get it from registering for beta when registration was possible?
I got a beta key this morning just from signing up many months back from the website.
But it isn't possible anymore to sign up for the beta. So this won't help me. =(
If it's any consolation, the SOE website is down so I can't even use the key I have.
Your best bet at this point is to find someone who got both a pre-order key and a lottery key and see if they'll give you one of them.

But i guess there are not many people who got both. And even if there are some, I guess noone would give it to a stranger on the internet like me.
Never hurts to ask. Several games here have "buddy key" thrreads.

I don't have one myself but usually the mods will put up a thread if there is a demand for such things for people sharing buddy keys as such.
Whether they will do that for this game or not i dunno. But people having extra keys and giving it to random people has happened before. Like the poster above me said. never hurts to ask.

I know that buddy-keys are often handled this way. But those are normally nothing special.
I guess beta-keys are far more "precious" and so won't be given away that easily.
But who knows? Maybe someone with a spare one will randomly come into this thread and want's to make me happy.
........at least I can keep on wishing.......
The official forum is down, but once it is back up, I'll post over there and see if anyone still has one to give out. Several people commented on getting 2 and the devs asked them to give the extra out.

It would be great to get the possibility to test this game before release to help making it as good as possible.
Writing complex feedback might become a little difficult as english isn't my first language. But since you seem to understand me here I guess it isn't as "rusted" as I thought it would be.
No preorder. I just signed up for beta ages ago.
After I saw all that great videos and good reviews of DCUO I asked the same question as the you OP
Worst thing is, that in our country I cant pre-order boxed version of the game. I have also registred for the beta 5 months ago and still no luck :-( I think that maybe I live in the wrong country, as they are not selling a boxes here, they dont need us for testeres/future customers either
Maybe we will get boxed version of the game after release and if reviews stays positive, I will get one
If the game will be super cool I maybe even buy digital verison (but steam also dont show me DCUO in my country) :-/
You guys give me hope that they are still sending, maybe they will also pick me up soon

I missed this deadline plus the preorder-till-nov15-one.
It seems to me, that if you pre-order, you still get invite into the game, but it could be anytime. In worst case 1 week before release. At least thats how I understand info on official page.
But I think after games like Mortal Online (yes I pre-order it
I also preorder AoC, but I dont count it, because I think its a good game) and other recent MMOs, its better to try before buy...

My understanding was that when preordering now, I would get beta-access only for the last week with the special event I actually forgot the name. Does anyone know if I can get into beta anytime if I would preorder today?
Thats what I want to know too. Because I thought you had to preorder before the 15th of november to get into the beta. But now it sounds like some people are still getting in through preorder.

I pre-ordered on Nov 30th and signed up for their beta with the purchase order and I still have not received a beta key. Their web site does say that if you turn in the purchase for beta by Nov 30th you will be sent a key on or before the last week of beta and get to particapte in the grand battle.
So it can be anytime now up to the last week of beta. *Sigh*

This sounds a bit melodramatic but that's really how I feel atm.
Edit: another problem arised: I registered the key succesfully to my station accout. But where do I download the client now? Can't find any information regarding this! =(
