had to get those in before the trolls arrived
on a serious note...it was pretty obvious cataclysm was going to break sales records. Its a HUGE expansion, and a lot of people came back to WoW because of cataclysm. My whole work place (30 people) were coming back or already are back for Cataclysm, except 5 people don't play MMOs and are more of a FPS fans. So thats 25 people coming back just for that.

Well you have to realize as well though that they probably can't count the number of digital sales that went on through other websites that may not be put into the statistic.
Digital sales has to be in there. How could it not be ?

So true and even if they sold 3 more million after 24 hours where are the rest of the people ? That is also hypothetically speaking they even sold that many after 24 hours.
