A better MMO system?

A big problem that alot of us free MMO gamers have encountered is that the F2P games are generally more unstable than P2P. This is because the P2P game developers generally care more about attracting customers with better content while F2P just wants to milk the ones they currently have. The problem with cash shops is that it often makes the game nearly impossible for free to play customers.

A while back, I started Jade Dynasty and I've got to say that I'm loving the system. Haven't spent any money at all and yet I'm one of the top on the server. This would be impossible in most other games, except the Banker system allows you to trade in-game gold with other people selling cash shop money (Topic here: http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/447/view/forums/thread/300196/IMPORTANT-New-to-Jade-Dynasty-Read-this.html). It's a win-win situation.

Recently though, the economy is suffering a bit. This system definitely plays heavily on the in-game economy. Just wondering if there are any other MMOs out there with a similar set up, and how their economies are faring?

The F2P MMO that I'm playing is suffering from deflation in that the cash shop items players are selling on the market is getting cheaper relative to ingame gold.  The ingame gold price of one of the most common cash shop items has dropped over 80% since March of this year. On the positive side, more players seem to be taking the risk of upgrading their equipment and items that are very high end just 5 months ago are now actually affordable to half a year ago.

I strongly suspect the cause of the deflation is due to one of the new expansions this year that allowed a massive amount of ingame gold to flow out of the economy.

That's weird, the exact opposite is true of Jade Dynasty. As more and more high level players are able to farm tons of gold, the demand for cash shop items increases, and the overall value of these items increases to match it. This leaves newer players unable to compete with any of these prices, and most of them end up failing and quitting because they simply don't make enough gold to keep up with these cash shop prices.
