Connection problems

i was wondering if anyone could help me. iv been having connection problems. im on a 56k dial up and the bytes sent are way more then recieved. iv lowered the port speed and toyed with the transfer rate, even deleted and recreated the connection. nothing seems to work im clueless on what to do. can anyone help?

it's gonna sound blunty obvious and rude...
but if I were you, I'd pay the extra 20 bucks a month and get atleast a 256k connection.

It's been awhile since I last had dial up, but in my own case with broadband, when I look at those same stats, my packets sent is just over 280,000. My packets received are over 420,000. I assume that correlates with Kb in some sense. I'm receiving more than sending. I'd like to say I could help you with this problem, but I would have to recommend going to
download.com and getting some program that can analyze the problem for you. Best of luck.
