An interesting fact about Catwoman is her origin has been redone about four times to fit social concerns and making her more relevant to women. She started of in 1940 as a sexy jewel thief, in those days that was all a gal needed to be. But later on she had abusive parents then distant parents then a dodgy husband.
I think there may have been even more drama, which shows you that to be a true super heroine you have to have a crap childhood and relationships. It is funny how this resembles the bestselling books of today. Which are ‘biographies’ of female celebrities who have a tough time as a kid, are often ugly ducklings, have relationship disasters and triumph at the end of the book as beautiful celebrities. Go figure.
