Question concerning leveling

A question about applying points to different things when leveling. Is it possible to hold onto the points you get as you go up in level to apply them to different areas? For example, when you hit level two you get a point to be applied to one of your power trees. Is it possible to not put that point in either tree and save it for level three, when you get to put points into your weapon skills?

    Absolutely.

Some trees like the movement trees force you to put points in to get up to the higher levels.  You can always respec at the watchtower if you want to use your points right now,  but want to change it up later.. like spec'ing in iconic powers or what have you.

umm you can't use a power point in a weapon/movments skilll So no you can't save the point at lvl 2 which is for powers and put it in a weapon skill at level 3.

Power points and weapon/movement skills are different points and alternate every leve.

Yes, you get weapon and skill points separately, however i don't think the OP meant level 2 specifically, just the concept.

I have saved points for several levels before spending them.  I haven't tried saving up all my power points to put into Iconic powers only, but I can't see any reason why you couldn't.  I assume the same for movement powers.  Though it would make some of the early levels a bit tougher.

Power points can be spent on your  abilities from your chosen power, or from the Iconic powers.  However you can't select any of the Iconic powers until level 10. Skill points can be spent on weapon skills or movement powers. Movement powers include movement modifiers and attacks. In theory, you could make a character with only Iconic Powers and Movement powers.

Iconic powers seem to be only restricted by level. The rest are restricted by level and/or require certain powers in the tree be taken before others.
