Oh yay...a new update for the market ward...pfft
Now just be done with all the BS and make an AH/mail system already. You know your game is screwed up, or else the boss wouldn't have stepped down. You wouldn't have extended the free period either...you should know what's wrong, we all do.
No AH=no play...still not gonna click on bazaars....so it's still a fail for me

Meh, Id still like to see it after they implement the search function they are working on for next patch this month. Wait is it scheduled for the next Dec patch or is it one of the longer waits? I cant remember.
They must have a reason for making the wards, some RMT reason , so im happy they are doing it. They just need to get it done. Wards should have been working as intended by release. This search tool and the changes they are making; they were most definitely in the works before the game was released.
Dunno why SE released it. And then f'ed up the party sp so i can even grind away while im waiting for fixes.

Kind of amuseing how people doom the upcoming system while it is not even there right now and not all details are known. I will judge it when it is out.
Uh? system is already there and we have been using it for months. The only thing they are going to add is a search feature. Its going to be just like using yelow gremlin, which is the website players have been using and probably don't even care for search feature anymore. May i know what it is going to change? how is search feature going to be any different or better then using yellow gremlin to search markets?
But like i said SE really believes that their market wards are working. i guess they need more players to leave their game before they can open their eyes and implement an AH.

Aside of that likeing yellow gremlin it is not always really up to date well maybe it changed at least and it depend son how the search function work, like for example that oyou go to the boards enter the item you search it spells out the market area and the vendor for it. All the person than just must do is to use a teleport and walk to to the vendor.
As said that is just a speculation example and in that case it is not to tough for someone to make a few steps like this. Maybe it is only because I sometimes like to brows the retainers. I admit that is a kind of complete personal likeing, but with a system like I say it would be nice enough for me.
Well i am glad you are ok with it. but right now considering the current condition of the game it needs a lot more then few happy fans who are ok with just anything from day one. The search function will only help as far as narrowing down what you need to say 100 from 500 retainers. In the end its still the same running to every ward and hope that you get it first before anyone else does. And even after all the changes in UI it is still pain to click on every retainer to get what you need.

Nothing wrong about this and I agree on your points other people I know see it similar, it anyway not sort of changes that I like it personally.
And considering the nature of humanity someone is kind of as long happy if haveing enough like minded people around and in that cas ethe server are running. I admit it becomes a problem for me as well when the other factors continue to fall, but what do I gain from complaining to much right now instead of enjoy it on a personal level till it ends up in doom.
Not get me wrong critic is right and important my point is just pure egoistical in that case. Sort of like betetr enjoy as it stays than grumble all the time till it is away. :P
Sure not the best strategy I admit.
Although I still hate the market wards and I don't think adding a simple search feature will do much to improve them, I'm learning to live with it.
And I will say that there is one huge positive thing I'm seeing from this compared to other games. Since there is no good way to find materials you need, I'm seeing a TON more cooperation within the linkshell. I barely buy anything ... I trade with other players in the shell. Obviously it's still a pain compared to going to an AH and buying something, but it's a lot cheaper. Plus, it is making our group a hell of a lot more cohesive.
So although we're working it out and it's turning into a huge positive ... it was still a horrible idea - or at least horribly executed.
I remember hearing "this will be an mmo that will embrace the casual players as well" or something to that effect....as an old player of XI, and a person who because of work has to play in a casual manner (whenever i get a few hours here and there) i can say beyond question that the market system as it is right now is in no way shape or form catering to me.....if i only have a certian ammount of time to do stuff on the game before i have to head out for work.....i shouldn't spend the entire lump of that time looking from retainer to retainer for whatever i need. and even with YG to help it seems like that's what i'm doing.
