It is a very commonly misspelled word, I've actually had people tell me in games (this isn't the first time we've used the name, generally we just use Desolation but occasionally for one reason or another we're forced to use HoD) that I misspelled my guild name, I just laugh at them.

Hi,
I am looking for a guild to join but will not be getting the game for another 3 months. I am in the military and am deployed right now. I have an EQ background and my main character was a cleric. I enjoy playing a support class so I will probably be a monk or a hybrid of it. Looking for a good group to play with and have some fun.

Sure, we'll still be around in 3 months I'm sure. We're growing fairly rapidly but not too fast. Mostly people from here and from other branches of Deso, we don't really do any open recruiting like a lot of guilds out there, standing in town square spamming "We're recruiting, we rock, please join us" or some crap. My philosophy has always been to just let them come to us. The people who find us on their own tend to stay longer than the ones we "convinced" to join. Or something like that, I had the thought in my head and its not coming out right now, I just woke up tho.... Oh well, hopefully you get my point.
Anyway, anyone else out there who has recently picked up the game, is about to pick it up or who has even had it for a while, if yer looking for a guild feel free to look us up.
