The poses and stances look very natural and I like the graphic style. I just wish more developers would spin the camera 180 on more of their screenshots. Granted, they did some fine work on some of those asses, but screenshots of the backs of characters get old after a while.

The graphics look exactly the ame style as Aion, in fact, theres some screens that lets us hang in doubt if this is Tera or Aion.

Also would like to mention the exclamation amrk on the head of the quest givers, at least in Aion they spend some time to make some different ones =P

The problem with this games, and this beta once again proves it, is that their first audience is the Korean one, western ppl get always in second place, with late patches, no bets and the usual stuff...

While I definitely see some similarities to the look of Aion, I don't think that's a bad thing. I think Aion is the best looking MMO to date. I stayed longer than the gameplay warranted because the world was just so damn beautiful.

While beautiful, I have issue with the armor styles in this game. However, I disagree they look anything like Aion. Even suggesting that is such a display of fanboism its pathetic. Aion has robes and actual fantasy-themed armor. These women look like they belong in an Ambercrombie catalog. They literally look like they stepped off the runway. I'm all for 'sexy-fied' armor, but I do prefer it actually resembles armor in some way. This looks purely like fashion. Daisy dukes, spiked heels and a bustier? I mean, really? They look more like they're about to head out for a night on the town than to battle.

If everyone was dressed similarly that would be different, but then you have the male characters in heavy armor. There's very little cohesion in the style, and it looks almost like the characters in the game don't actually belong with one another. That would break immersion for me pretty majorly. They should either dress the other classes, and the other gender, similarly or they should rethink the 'armor' of some of those girls, particularly the caster classes.

Wish this game would come out already. The Korean OBT just started or is about to start, can't remember.

I don't think the NA version has even start closed beta yet. Was thinking some time ago that since a US developer licensed it so soon that we would be much more caught up with the Korean version by now.

This game looks the most promising so far for 2011. I think the reality is though, it's only a hold off game until GW2 comes out after. And yea, I agree with whoever said Aion has the best graphics for a MMO so far. After playing Rift beta and going back to Aion, it's not even close. Given it's beta but still, I dont see them tuning the graphics any better than Aion.

This is unfortunately true. And it'll probably be the same with GW2 since that, like aion who has the same fate, is from NCSoft

There was nothing wrong with AION's graphics. The problem with AION and reason it failed was anoying combat system, lack of story, and overall the game boiled down to nothing more then an endless grind fest with no end game. If TERA can avoid those pitfalls then they will have a real winner here.
