Cottage Deed

in Darkfall

So,

I am currently trying out darkfall with some friends, and while I was upping my bow skill I happened to get this item called 'cottage deed'. I am still unsure if I am going to sub, so I have abot a week to sell this deed, as I understood they are quite rare. Anyone wanna chat me up, my nick is Kimi Koponen, race orc.

    It's a rare drop, and would be worth about 50k if there was any use for it currently.

    Right now, however, there are no open slots for houses, so there's really no use for it until AV adds more.  When that happens, perhaps you can have your own house, or sell it for a lot.

    Ah, thats a shame. But anyhow, thanks for the information. I don't suppose you have further information regarding the possibility of getting new housing land ? I thought that darkfall wasn't doing so well in terms of population, like AoC, where theres a small group of loyal followers, and very few new players ever make it to play the game more than the trial or the first month of subscription.

    All I've heard is that they are going to add more slots, by adding more to the existing villages, and perhaps adding more villages.  There are probably around 500 in the game right now, which is obviously not enough for every player to have one.

    Houses with taxes that go unpaid for longer than 3 weeks can be claimed by someone else with a deed.

    People with houses who unsub loses their houses.

    So you can still claim houses with deeds. Just gotta be lucky, or prevent people from paying taxes for 3 weeks.
