imo it can be very good f2p game, but if they decide to go sub based model they can have hard times...
F2P for any game sucks period. I think if this game charges 10 bucks and no DL cost it will do fine.
If they charge 50 buck and a monthly of 15 then I agree. But I will not play any game that is F2P.
I been in the beta for this , last time and now. So far its doing good.
So, it looks like this game is going to have nothing in common with the one that was cancelled by Perpetual's demise. That game looked pretty good. This one...not too sure about.
Let's party like it is 1863!
looks cool, but i cant create an account everytime come pls enter a valid date... and yes im over 18.... it is a bug?
Just what "nothing in common" are you talking about?
Heatwave bought up the Prep version lock, stock and barrel and while they've cleaned up and up to dated the graphics it's the SAME GAME. No new quests, no new minion system nada.
Only difference is Heatwaves version will be brower based; which as I understand it, just means using a 3rd parties servers to run the signal through.
SWG (pre-cu) - AoC (pre-f2p) - PotBS (pre-boarder) - DDO - LotRO (pre-f2p) - STO (pre-f2p) - GnH (beta tester) - SWTOR - Neverwinter
I don't think it's browser based...The screenshots look pretty though.
tried one of the beta weekends some months ago.
game has really a long way till its gonna be something.
unless it wants to be the usual mmo just with different theme.
not sure if there is any kind of NDA in beta, i doubt i cant say the things i said above tho.
the only good difference i can tell is that.... damn i tried loads of betas. this game is the only game spamming my mail with info and news and stuff. id say developers really want their game to be succesful.
Hello all!
First, to Tjar82 schlifer: If you're having problems with the site, drop us a note at support@godsandheroes.com and we'll help troubleshoot your issue.
Second, the game is not browser based. And yes, the Beta Test and our Stress Tests are under the NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) so all feedback and discussion about experiences in the beta should happen on our own forum, in the Beta section.
Cheers!
