There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein "Graphics are often supplied by Engines that (some) MMORPG's are built in" - Spuffyre
WAR had a way better CE than Rift. A mousepad and usb drive lol...
Can't beat FFXIV CE..one tumbler and a map..lol
Who could have thought that WOW could bring super power like USA to its knees?

To put it in a nutshell, our society is about to hit the fan, grades are dropping, obesity is going up,childhood the USA is going to lose its super power status before too long, but hey, as long as we have a cheap method to babysit our kids, all will be well no? Im picking on WoW btw because its the beast that made all of this possible
Zzzz . I've played RIFT. It feels like WoW 2. Same old cookie cutter just better graphics and less to do. But I am glad for those that are excited about the game. For me it just feels like rush through the content so that you can raid in the end. Thats what game is basically about.
Although I would like to have that bag of 24 slots I have never bought the collector's edition of any game ever as my husband would not stand for it and I can never convince him.
That's pretty good that you're able to sum up a game from a beta event that showcased only a small portion of the content/mechanics/features. Rift doesn't change a whole lot, but it adds enough to make things interesting again. It was agonizing going back to play EQ2 after the Rift beta. On topic - this is a fine CE if you ask me.
With or without the bennies this is a must have MMORPG for serious gamers. The beta had excellent graphics, great playability, and awesome combat. This is the best RPG I've played since Oblivion, well actually its better than Oblivion.

I agree, this was the best beta experience I have ever had. The game is well-done in all ways...I couldn't believe how smooth the game play was...how many people can say that about a beta? The invasion event during the 2nd beta was a blast and I had one hell of a good time. Believe me, the ppl that had great fun playing Rift far outweighs the ones that didn't like it. This CE is just more proof that the game is for serious MMORPG players....imho

After the recent CE I bought for what turned out to be a heap of crap mmo, I said I'm done buying CEs...
... and then this thing shows up to test my resolve.
Pets, inventory expansion, speed-bonus mount, badass in-box items...
Damn you, TRION!

Definately an exceptional collection of goodies in the CE.
Mousepads and USB drives aren't collectables that should be found in a "Collectors Edition". Art books, Graphic novels and paintable figurines are.

Very nice. The items in the CE are actualy useful. Tip O the hat to Trion.
I was on the Rift site today and they had the CE for $59.99....can't beat that price for everything that's included.
