What Do u Do In Pvp?

in Guild Wars

I was just wondering Whar exactly do u do in Pvp. Is it stuff like death math, capture the flag etc. Or is it different. My other question is does Pvp get bored easily. Sorry about my english. Thanx for repiles

    if you are a counter-strike fan or similar, you get the same adrenaline rush whenyou get into PVP. And I mean, you get addicted to return to it and go kick some ass. And this has been one of them games where i've seen myself a PvP that lasted for 15 minutes. (Honestly speaking) that's how good the PvP is.

    Think about counter strike, everytime you kill, you want to kill some more without getting too much frags. Get it? or unreal tournament if youre not a CS fan

    Heres what you do in PvP:
    1. Normal PvP is where 4vs4 groups try to eliminate each other in an arena
    2. There is a PvP (Normally called Guild vs Guild) where you capture each Guild halls or castles if you want to see it in a different way
    3. There is a PvP where you battle to get to the top of the ladders. You go through different elimination rounds to get to the last face-off of the different winning parties in the preliminaries and fight for the possession of the altar. It is so much fun going through the way, battles are not quick... they can last as much as 30 mins.... You should try it for yourself. Any questions appreciated.

    yeah pvp is like team death match in a way and every time you win you go to the next round on a new map multiple team games are the most fun and they last a long time so it never gets boring

    this is why i stopped playing counter-strike, this is cs on a completely different level.

    i do play cs, thanx guys i think i understand it, so after you get to level 20 youre pretty much done story line? and theres no story line in pvp? is there?

    Yeah, you are pretty much finished after you have gotten to 20. You could always go back and make other characters to get all the quests, unlocking all skills for PvP characters. You can also keep fighting mobs trying to get those Runes to drop or to capture their skills.

    I guess my next question is: Is the game really worth buying if its gonna take me a week to finish all the quest and storyline??

    Paul11. M8. The storeline is only 1/5 of the quests and stories. There are an immense amount of side quests and stories to follow.  And noone can complete everything in 1 week.  simply not possible. You may complete main story in 1 week.  But you need to game alot to do it.  i did in it 6 days with 15hours+ a day.  (alot of PVPing as well) But theres plenty of things to do after you hit lvl 20. And theres plenty of quests to last you a coupple of weeks.
