Hello, Beta4 announced, Warfronts will be avaible and level 25.

Levels 1-25

As conflict grows increasingly brutal, the Warfronts of Telara call for champions to take arms and stain the earth with enemy blood. Will you join the Guardians and follow the will of the Vigil to salvation, or fight as a Defiant to usher in an age of techno-magical dominance?

    Im really going to be interested to experience how dis-similar, yet evolved and game-play involved and entertaining this is going to be compared to games we've been involved with over the last few years.

    Awesome, wasn't expecting it this week to be honest. I will be ready though..been waiting to check out warfronts. Scenarios was my favorite thing in WAR as i despised the zerging.

    Who could have thought that WOW could bring super power like USA to its knees?

    This sounds awesome.  I just hope I can score one of the beta keys before round 4 starts up. 

    The more and more I heard about Rift, the more I'm interested in it.

    Current game: Pillars of Eternity

    Played: UO, AC, Eve, Fallen Earth, Aion, GW, GW2 

    Tried: WOW, Rift, SWTOR, ESO 

    Future: Camelot Unchained?  Crowfall?  Bless?

    If I had a key to get into BETA 3 (I actually used it and played in BETA 3)  Will I be able to play in BETA 4?  Or do I need a new key?

    Warfronts + someone will win a nVidia 460.....sounds to good to pass up.

    I have been invited to the previous 3 betas but I passed them up. This one looks a bit special and is a bit harder to pass on. I hope I get the invite again. Will be alot of fun to get into all the fun stuff this game has to offer for a few days.  Does anyone know any specifics about Warfronts and how it works? I played WoW and stuff. I am wondering is Warfronts a special zone that you have to accomplish objectives like capture the flag or hold the fort?

    I have a "Community Key" that was added to my account.. I'm not sure if this was a VIP key, but I've been in every BETA to this date. :O

    Nice, I recently checked my email which I don't do very often and noticed I got an invite for last beta but its now over... FML.

    Your still not guarentee'd a beta invite to every beta unless you have a vip key, which was my answer to his question.

     

    You got hit by the random luck generator, you should be happy, i however have a vip key so i do get into every beta from here till launch

    On that note, is there any chance that some generous soul who knows they are no longer interested in this game might be willing to pass their beta key over to an MMO veteran who is still interested?

    i dont think that raising the lvl cap in beta to 25 is a good thing (they will have shown almost half of their game befour release, people will be bored even more easy now that they already played half the content).

    i heard some people in previous beta event already yelling in chat that they found the game boring (still they played tough :p)

    the pvp testing is a good idea imo

    A beta is for testing content, so it is good that they increased to 25  + Warfronts. Wait for release if you don't want any spoilers and they will probably change minor things for release.

    the question is: will be a new area free to enter? I don't know, but i belive it's not. Because it's only 5 lvl more to do.

     Actually, I had a regular beta key and was invited to all three betas.  I finally got a VIP key at the end of beta 3.  VIP just guarantees an invite.  I like to think it was due to all of my feedback that they kept bringing me back  : )

    Gloamwood is probably level 20-25.

    No, there probably will NOT be new areas/zones opened up in beta 4. Beta 4 increases the level cap to 25 because they are going to be previewing/testing the rate at which players can acquire XP through PvP.

    Here's the official statement from Abigale on the Rift forums:

    "In addition to all playable content released during the first three beta events, Warfronts includes a raised level cap to 27, the zones of Gloamwood and Stonefield, and two new dungeons to explore: Darkening Deeps and Deepstrike Mines."

     1/2 the game?  hehe.. just because you hit 25 doesn't mean you've seen half the game.  So far at level 20 you have seen exactly one zone on each side (and the instanced noob area).  That doesn't mean you have seen 40% of the game either...

     

    They are obviously just teasing the lowbie stuff, but as everyone knows.. there is a lot more content at 50 then at 10.
