Help! In-Game Issues!

I'm having trouble in-game. Can someone explain these basic questions to me? I just started.

1: How do you chat? There were plenty of times where communicating would be nice, but I couldn't figure out how.

2: How do you set up a shop? I see all these people selling their wares in the village square, how do I do that?

Other than these predicaments, I thought the game was fun. I enjoyed the easy leveling, it was a nice change from the hard-as-Hell nature of Final Fantasy XI.

    1. you chat by pressing enter. At the bottom of the screen make sure all of the arrows are pink (if not click them, if they are gray you have that chat on block) then simply click on the chat you would like to use.

    2.  To setup a shop simply type /merchant put the items you want to sell and at the bottom enter the auction info.

    I also had trouble chatting at first, an easy way to 'private message' someone is to click on them so they are highlighted in green, then, click the 'private' tag under the 'talk' box.image
