Star Wars Galaxies vs Everquest 2!

I have SWG now, but no expansion packs. I loved SWG for awhile untill i got mad about the economy, I felt that it shouldn't of been a Community Based Economy due to finding items is much of a hassle and people can charge a large amount of credits. I liked exploring the planets and such but the combat to me felt wierd. Though, CU has finnally been implemented into the game and 2expansions look promising along with the ability to LVL, but the reason why i liked Galaxies was because it was different from other MMORPG's.
I'm currently playing the Trial of the Isles on EQ2 and im loving it. The graphics even with my 512mb ram, and my Nvidia 5600, it looks kinda nice. I loved the widescreen effect, it makes the game look better in a way aswell! The combat to me kinda felt a little slugish but after playing for awhile i will get used to it.

I have a Nvidia 5600 card, and 512ram of system memory. I think i should upgrade both and get only one of these games... Im going very strong to Everquest 2 right now.. How's the learning curve? Item Cost? is it community runned like in Galaxies? Will my upgrade card and RAM will be able to go on High Settings?

Ok first of all i don't know EQ2 but i do know that SWG is very disapointing to me i played it from june 28th 2003 to December 28th 2004 And i think that it was better at luanch then now. Lucasarts is pretty much retarded there best games were from 1997 but now its just a bunch of impatient fat nerds running lucasarts.

I don't know about video card but you'll need at least 768 mb ram for Galaxies for decent gameplay prefered 1 gig of ram but that may be pricy.
Get a station access pass and play both ... I think the difference in monthly fee between a single game and the station pass is only 30 % or so.
If only one ... SWG ... and concentrate on the new Wookiee expansion which is VERY quest heavy and nicely done.

I would get both of these games but Star Wars Battlefront is calling to me right now and saying that you need to buy me, PLZ!!! Gonna get EQ2 and SWBF, because both games are different so if i get tired of EQ2 for aday, then i could just play Battlefront for a little bit!

Give SWG a few months to build up some new content, otherwise you'll be repeating a lot of stuff you did previously. Play EQ2 for now and eventually upgrade to the All Access pass.

Lol, one zoned world with a few quests doesn't rate that much an increase in content.
Seriously, if you've played SWG in the past wait a few months for more content to build. Not to mention time to work out the numerous bugs ^_^

cause I am playing at European times and that might not be the time you are usually playing. Fadeus is known as Marguul on Naritus .. you could try to contact him too. We will get you some travel money, equipment, vehicles , droids and ships and guide you through your first steps in game. You are welcome to join our player city and our guild, but thats completely optional.

niether, i would never in my life give 1 penny to Sony Online Entertainment. i played swg for 18 months, and in the end i cancelled 2 days after the CU hit. SOE will never reward you for your loyalty, as soon as they think profits are down, they will do w/e they feel is profitable, no matter how long u have played they will pay you no mind when making a decision that directly affects your play xperience. dont trust them, dont pay them. run to a game far, far away from SOE!

Dude SWG warning if you don't have at least 512 don't get SWG i had 56 mb of ram it took me like 30 mins to walk into a starport it was so laggy 512 ain't that great either its ok with 768 but its gradully getting orse with it.
Edit: 256 MB RAM HAS LAG ON SWG WORST THAN AOL!!
