i came across this article reading tonight, and i think its preety messed up and i played WoW since closed beta, and acheived lvl 60 in a month, and now i see why not enough end game content has been released, and why BG is taking soo long to come out, and on top of that i have seen alot of my high lvl friends who have there onyxia keys etc leave the game permatley.

I cant see how this is messed up.Freedom of choice to work where you want to work?

NCSOFT opens a office in the same area of a city they have every right to do this.If the employees liked where they worked they wouldnt be leaving at all.To say that 1 company is stealing another's employees is just silly.

What is this corporate espionage?NCSOFT sneaks in undercover of the night and "steals" employees?

Yeah no way would they just make a good and better offer to employees at Blizzard.

Sorry guys but this is just the way the world works.Just because you work somewhere for x amount of years doesnt mean its a permanent position.The employees and employer have every right to either fire you or find a better job with better pay and better benefits.

The real issue here should be why Blizzard doesnt want to keep its current staff that have been working on the new expansion?They have supposedly 1.5 million customers playin WoW?Do the math and you see how much cash is flowing in at Blizzard.Im pretty sure they could pay a lucrative salary to employees if they wanted.

So why would employees quit then?

Stupid story based on a leap of logic rather than any kind of sound facts. Irresponsible at best.

Companies don't rent or buy offices with the intention of stealing another companies employees.

Also, what does end game content have to do with making level 60 in a month. Dare I suggest you play the game too much?

Im not going to comment much, since i dont know if this is completely true. But in the other hand, If blizzard is lossing people at that rate they can kiss their game good bye.

It is a tragicblow to losse people that been working on a project since the beggining and have to bring in nw people not familiar with the code.

i was just stating that one of the reasons that me and thousands of other people who are wanting more end game content, and stuff like that are quiting the game because of it, thats basicly all i was saying

If Blizzard could learn how to treat their personnal, they would have very little to fear.

But Blizzard Inquisition is most infamous! They behead their own personnal quite fast, Arena Net(Guild Wars) could feedback you on this, yet they are to professionnal to do it.

NCsoft or SoE soften their personnal to the maximum and they take great care of them. NCsoft give their personnal more freedom, SoE have a ''quiet and follow attitude'' which get on the nerve of many peoples who find better situations and left(Sigil could feedback you, but they would prolly just say some stuff about how Vanguard will be a great game, they always do so, a little like when you find a victim and try to talk with the victim and then the victim always bring back the subject to something else, something very nice in their life usually).

If a company, at the first sign of something that dont go perfectly well, fire employees...well, it dont help build loyalty to that company...Blizzard is trigger happy on the firing process, rather then finding the solution, they hire new staff who better correct the situation...which result in an incredibly slow developpment process, yet once something is done, the folks check it over and over to be sure it is flawless...at the other end of the spectrum, SoE will encourage folks to work a LOT and throw stuff, even if incomplete, can always fix later...I prefer the SoE approach, after I can say it was a sissy move to cut half the loot table from LDoN!

As long as Blizzard is ruled by an Lawfull Evil Inquisition, expect such loyalties issues among the personnal, if you dont know if there will be a tomorrow and see a nice safer option pop up, loyalty tend to go down the shaft! Blizzard always have issues to keep their personnal, nothing new there. If I recall well, they even lost quite a few of the warcraft original setting because some boss was throwing it less fantastic, more realist(come Starcraft after)...hehehe

End Games content is great, it is what I am looking for, however it must not be done at the expense of the casual zones or others gameplays(EQ is always at the expense of the casuals & others gameplays).
