We kick off our 2011 TERA Tuesdays in a big way. MMORPG.com has partnered with TERA devs and En Masse to bring you the best TERA screens on the Net. This week, we feature three action-packed screenshots showing off some truly enormous bad guys battling TERA's heroes. Check them out in our Tuesdays With TERA #1 feature.

Nice-looking screens. The graphics in this game look like they'll push even the best rigs to their limits. It'll be interesting to see it in action. I'm not a huge fan of the anime / furry characters, but if the gameplay is engaging I'll probably give it a go.

@Maelstrom. Not necessarily... That's the funny thing about TERA. It *looks* like it would push your system, yet it's built on the same tech as Unreal Tournament III and Gears of War, which is already a few years old.

Will it push systems at the highest settings? I'm sure it would. But scaled back for the "less than high end" systems that can't run it at full, I imagine it should run fine.

Graphics look great for an mmo. Hope the gameplay will be just as good.

No worries about runing this game. I been beta testing this game on laptop which was bough almost a year ago(mid-high class laptop ~1k EU)  Been running all high just shadows off (somehow turning off shadows increases your FPS by like 10-15) without any noticable lag. Also should mention graphics are top top of what I've seen in MMO market. Even if we look at FFXIV, TERA wins easily.

Conclusion: Best graphics on the market which requires very low computing power(Thx to unreal engine technology behind) combined with fucking awesome gameplay.

Man enough of the teasing with this game MMORPG. Is this game coming out (2011) or what? Any news on the North American beta? We need some bread-n-butter information regarding this game and not still pictures...

Im sure the weapon would just bounce off that thing if you tried to attack it.

yep i guess TERA features a fully scalebale graphicsengine. but: you can't never await 'high quality' with an 'low-end system'. sounds fair.

This is one game of around 4 that I'm hoping will become my home..  Ive scratched Rift off that list after beta testing it..  *sigh*

Yeah sadly I have decided against Rift too.  Nicely polished and a compilation of good features from other games though.

I know everyone is happy the graphics are nice but its the story and the gameplay that will truly drive tera they are doing someing that no mmo has done before, True Action and for people saying they dont like the fuzzy characters well only like 2 of them are fuzzy and the game already has a recieved a pegi 18 in korea which means the esrb will give it an M rating as if you watch the videos its pretty bloody. So fuzzy maybe kid friendly nooooo
