I have both games and simple WoW is much better, guildwars has to little grinding, im like 'what the hell!'?

you play a week and you ar level 20! What happend to the grinding i love so much!?
Anyway to get into some details, World of Warcraft has a smoother control and the graphics ar quite diffrent, And ONE very bad point is that almost everybody looks like the same by having the same equipment and the same appreance of the equipment which rarely changes you just have a 'few' armor-sets - (meaning a few diffrent armor looks) and a few weapons and the stats arent really that diffrent, you have no very high-end (extremely good) sword or anything.
What do you play this game for if you dont advance? every game has a task at hand having you to advance, that's the nature of games.
But what do you do when you are level 20? You have completed the whole story-line quest? You have high-end equipment? Go like the usual thing? PK-Farm?
YES! There ar also a few more minor problems with guild-wars as you cannot really interact with the enviremont, If you want to jump OF A cliff you simple cant.
Everything is instanced, even towns, towns have a limit of 50 players.
A mmorpg trulhy is a graphical social world with alot of interaction with other people, that's why you play a mmorpg. Guild wars just simple does not have that & compare, it's nice, but dont expect it to cover-up one of the greatest real mmorpgs.
Guild Wars deserver a 7 and a remove from this website.
Just poined out how bad Guild-wars is and how far away it is to be a great game mmorpg.

I have to disagree. I do very much like WoW but and bored at level 50 since I have to grind.
I am enjoying my time with Guild Wars.
Just my opinion.

The day people will realize that BETTER is not a word you can truly use in this situation. I don't like World of Warcraft at all, but I'm not about to say GW is better. It's different.

i'm a wow player, but i luv the fact that theres other games out there, WE need that.
I am highly interested in purchasing GW, so I read a lot of reviews and I came to a conclusion that GW is not your regular MMORPG like WoW. Where WoW tries to please both PvE and PvP (but still most of WoW is PvE oriented) GW is strongly PvP oriented. I hear a lot of people saying GW is like a mix of Counterstrike, Diablo2 and Magic the Gathering. So you cant realy compare those 2 because GW is played in a different style.
I read a realy nice review today, comparing WoW to GW.

Although I think author of that review is a bit biased against WoW because he was so pissed at the new honor system in WoW. Still, its very informative and I think i had a good understanding of what GW is about.
Its a rather lengthy review so read it if u have about 20 minutes of free time.

Obviously you don't have your facts straight and just because I made a wise decision on my purchase doesn't mean you have to use it to cover up your own wasted game-buying decission. I chose to spend my money on a STABLE, LAG-FREE netcode with tech support 10x better than what WoW could ever hope to be. Sorry WoW is not a "luxury" MMORPG....... I'll let the ratings speak for themselves....Instead I chose to spend my "Wealth" on an Athlon 64 FX-55, and Dual 6800 GTs PCI-e in SLI mode.....while you game with a ghetto rig.
I find it amusing how you bash a game you have never owned much less tried.
And I refuse to engage myself in a battle of wits with an unarmed man......

Lol, I agree! GW is 10x better than WoW. He just can't handle that GW is a better game so he starts bashing it. I guess fanboi's will be fanboi's...**sigh**. But I still like WoW...kinda...but GW is still 10x better! And I to would rather pay nothing for a great game than $15 a month for one that's not so great. No use complaining when everyone's playing!
Guild Wars is based on skill, not hours played. If you want to grind, there is nothing at all wrong with that. But Guild Wars was advertised as being anti-grind. If WOW is better for you because it has a grind, then relax and enjoy WOW.
Personally, I won't say which game I like better. Actually, I can't. Each game I play certainly has me saying, "You know, if this game had this from WoW, this from Guild Wars, this from FFXI, this from Lineage 2, this from EQ2 . . . " For me, the perfect game is not out there . . yet. But of the games that are considered "top" MMORPG's, they all have a lot to offer.

I played both games and i have to say that im more of a GW player and its not because i find WoW sucks, its just because GW is new and different...its not your standard MMO. We should just stop Flamming GW and WoW...if its not for you it doesnt mean its not for someone else nor does the game suck...

I'm not sure what folks are talking about grinding in WoW. You can, but you definately don't have to. Questing from lvl 1 - 60 was a lot of fun for me. ^_^
GW's really a fun game, so I can't say anything bad about it atm. I'm not sold on the idea of it being a MMORPG, but that's my opinion.

GW is a totally different type of game, and though most peopel will quickly tire of the PvP aspect, the RPG mode is like a great storybook of a game that can be played for 20-30 hours and put down with closure and happiness, well worth the $50
Both games are amazing, and thank you for leaving WoW and thank your friends too! The games are about as similar as Arnold Shwarzenegger and Bruce Lee. Sure they both kick ass, but why compare them? Both have their merits and both deserve a seat at the table. If you have some hatred for either game then your a PEON. Go outside and talk to a girl.
