Mourning..would anyone be interested in a real review?

I know all the problems the game has. I don't want anyone to tell me about them. I was just wondering if anyone would like to see a real review for this game. I would pay the 20 bucks or whatever it is and play it for awhile to actually see what the game is like. I know they had some problems with money management but that doesn't mean for sure that the game is horrible. I would give a real review without any stupid bias opinions.

there were tons of really good, unbiased reviews... but because they werent entirely positive, they got deleted from the mourning boards. try a search here on mmorpg, i think there was a really good (203 page) review a while back.

Unless Egomancer has a magic wand, I doubt that the game got better than that in the last week.

Yes, that is correct.
But the game is horrible according to countless people involved at varying stages of the game's lifecycle. If you want to ignore all of that and spend $20 to find out for yourself, why are you here asking us for permission?
Fenris worte a full page review covering all major aspects over a week ago. Just go back into the history about 5 pages and it is there for everyone to read.
I think it got deleted from the Mourning forums thought because it didnt confirm the assertion that the game is either playable or worth even $19.99 and we all know by now if you say something negative about the game on the forums it will be deleted.
Lets face it out of the 2 arguments for why they deleted the entire forums which sounds more credible ? "We did it to launch the game with clean forums" or "we had to do it because the overwhelming weight of negative material was hurting new signups" ?
I think we all know the answer... but those that were naieve enough to pre-order will never admit it.

Despite all the negative press on Mourning, I will still try the game out for myself before I become a mindless sheep who follow what everyone else is saying, which I bet is 50% of all the Mourning haters. I haven't played the game yet, but I like what they have designed on paper. Everyone on these forums likes and hates the same thing, have you noticed that? Their opinions are always the opposite of mine. For example, WoW to me is a worthless pile of crap, no disrespect to Blizzard though, Warcraft (The RTS, mind you.) and Starcraft are awesome franchises. They all think Face of Mankind is trash, yet it's better than 5 of the top engrossing mainstream MMORPG's combined.
So, I can promise things like that do, it doesnt make them true. The game isnt even playable, the servers are crashing constantly and the top population is 30 ppl.

Heh. The thing to apply when reading any type of public communication device, whether it be forums, newspapers, blogs, etc., is 'intelligence'. You have to make up your own mind, because everything you read will be flavored by someone else's opinion.
Mourning is a prime example, so I will run with it. I'm going to use 'you' as a general term and not imply you specifically.
You hear there is a new game called Mourning, and the description sounds like it will be pretty cool. Being an informed consumer, you look up on the internet to see other people's reviews to see if it will be something you like. Very smart move on your part. However, all the reviews are by people who don't like the same things you like, but they all have one thing in common, and that is that the game is full of bugs, that few of the promised features are implemented, a lot of the game is broken, there are only two quests, and the devs/mods have a bad reputation.
Regardless if I agreed that the game is bad based on it's ideas, I would listen to the fact that the game has some severe problems /unrelated/ to gameplay going with it. These people aren't saying its crap because they don't like this or that. They're saying it's crap because it's broken and not complete.
But, like I said, you have to make up your own mind.
Better to be a lamb than a lemming. Pay no mind the to cliff you're marching toward.

Sometimes a PoS is just a PoS: The majority can be right once in a while, ya know.
It's not a secret that the game is from a gameplay point of view still in beta. It's really hilarious to read these forums here, where everyone are running like little ants and screaming "aah, Mourning is a scam, it's going to eat as alive!".

The reason its not a secret is that the dedicated members of MMORPG.com have made it that way despite the best efforts of the developers to keep its condition and management underwraps with every dirty information stopping technique in the book.

I have been following this games forums over a year, and have never saw topic deleting etc. without a fairly good reasons. There have been some situations where posts have been deleted, but that happened only couple of times. I have never preordered the game, and will not if it doesn't get better.
I know that this doesn't convince anyone, but really, what else can I say? I have hard time trying to understand all this fuss. And I really am trying to see this case objectively.
I know you care, and respect that, Im just trying to stay neutral here.

Ok go buy it woris but before you do can you tell us your forum name on the Mourning boards so we can see you post about how shitty the game is and about how you want your money back but can't get it and about how you got ripped off and should have listened to the "trolls"? Yah I wish it would get better to. The thing is a mmorpg with a 50 or less player base does not last long.

Yes Gamigo (EU distributor) won't distribute the game til is decent.

I haven't played the game, but according to their forums servers are now up most of the time, and auto-reboot mechanism is also active. Who's lying now?

You seem to think people are expressing invalid opinions about Mourning yet you say you have not played it. Do you see the problem here ?
Also how do you explain the dicotomy and contradiction between your attitude to other peoples opinions of Mourning and your signature ?

Seriously what about all the weeks before this reboot mechinism the server was down all the time so they say they fixed it. I take there word on nothing at this point why should I?
