One thing Trion HAS to change about Rift

Macros.

 

Right now you can put more than one ability in a macro. What does this mean? You can put your entire skill rotation in one macro thus making it so you only need to hit one button then wait for the mob to die.

 

I don't know how others feel but I think this is a horrible idea. It removes so much from the game that you can put a perfect rotation in a macro, hit a button, and just let it go. I really hope Trion decides to remove this capability from the final game.

    That's the "sammich" function in Rift. Hit the macro and go get a sammich...

    If you can call one macro from another macro it's even better...  You end up with sammich and soup.

    All jokes aside though...I am really liking RIFT. It runs very smooth and the gameplay is nice.

    I agree, but this would be a total game breaker for me if they leave it in.

    I agree with you...but I am not worried about it because I am sure it will be gone at launch. But, put in a report on it just in case they missed it.

    I really hope they are smart enough to change it. I think everyone that knows about it should put a report in about it to help bring attention to the issue.
