The creative team over at Bioware have been busy putting a few more character biographies up for the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Old Republic.
In these new holorecords, you’ll learn about Supreme Chancellor Janarus, stalwart protector of Republic ideals and source of hope for its people. Opposite Janarus, hidden in the shadows, you’ll discover the enigmatic puppeteer of Imperial Intelligence, Darth Jadus. Elsewhere in the galaxy, the cold-blooded bounty hunter Jewl’a Nightbringer ruthlessly hunts down slavers, gangs, and crime lords who manage to catch her attention.

A rather small update for the game, surprised they didn't combine this with something else.
Another lore update, I'm getting the strangest feeling that story might be the big thing the marketing department are selling this game on.
Its a weekly update.
They need to ban use of the word "Darth" in the game or at least use it as a significant achievement award.
i'm pretty sure "darth" is a rank / status
Ima starting to suspect they don't have a marketing dept.
Why market a game thats not even finished yet? I mean seriously... Can the marketing team not get involved until we at least have a release date? I'm sure we will get all the BS hype and all the smoke blown up our butts in a few months. As for now, I am quite happy with the info coming out of this game so far. Its when you get marketing involved is when all the info comes out as a infomercial.
be thankfull guys and ladies we are getting some thing is better then nothing " go with patiance" " dont worry R2 will come down and release the rayshields " : )
why do the avatars look like 12 year olds with body proportions from 50 year olds? take a look at those pancake hands!
I have to be frank, some of the stories and some of the dialogue I've been seen coming out of this game is awkward at best and clunky, leaden and badly written at worst.
Yay, more Story content! ...seriously? All the media black-out lately and this is the best they have to show for it? wow...
Ya OMG imagine that, you people who follow a game 24/7 4 years before the game is due to come out, and yet they cant release AMZING info every day, OMG imagine that.
If you want tasty info, then stop following the game, stop bitching and come back when the game is about to release. Info is nice and all, but means very little till I get to play this and see if its any good for myself.
Yeah, a WEEKLY update to a game that isn't even finished yet has another lore update? God forbid! You know, they don't have to release any update at all if they don't want to.
I admit they do look rather large but I think they are using a stylised, visual style of graphics for this game.

More Bullshit coming from bioware... Isn't this game supposed to be out in a few months???? Why can't they show us something else. I am beginning to get very bored of this game. Was hoping this would be my MMO for years to come, but from what I am seeing lately ... not sure what to think anymore, we only got a few more months and they are giving us more of the same crap. Am I gonna buy TOR? I probably will, but not too sure now. If I do it will be strictly based off of me being a star wars fan and this being a sci fi game with jedi and light sabers. If this was some other MMO???? NO of course not unless it was stargate..
"When it comes to GW2 any game is fair game"
What else did you want them to show you?
Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.
Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.
Getting real tired of all the over abundant and over hyped coverage on this title, lost interest completely. We all know this game will still be in development for the next 5 more years are so.
On another note I think a Mass Effect online game would smoke this Star Wars one 10 fold.
It's a big title. it's made by a big company, it's star wars. Why wouldn't a site like MMORPG cover it?
MMORPG covers all news around mmorpgs. ToR is an MMORPG. why wouldn't it get coverage when something new comes out?
Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.

I wish they had a beta when the rift beta came out, so that i can make a descion what mmorpg game that i wanted to play, in the next coming up years.
God this is so bad.
"If half of what you tell me is a lie, how can I believe any of it?"
Please find your way to the western civilisation .... People market "upcoming" products all the time... especially MMOs
This absolutely is marketing, and it is bad marketing.
Promising updates every Friday when you got no content to share is attention whoring. It's hype.
Reminds me of Tabula Rasa releasing 2 Logos per week and making noise about it. It's a way to stay in the news and be talked about by websites like this one even when there's nothing significant to say.
They know they're a long way off till release. So basically drag it out every Friday till it starts to get juicey upon release, but by then most people will have gone off the game.

Hey, go back and re-read my post, somehow you missed the first sentence about over-abundant and over-hyped part.
Also note how long this title already has been in development.
Now also take note on how a big flop game they released called Dragon Age Origins was. Too linear and broken. They released several patches which didn't even address the main issues of the broken DLC content problem.
Oh no Bioware must of hired on some half-a$$ed developers starting with Dragon Age Origins.
You want more proof?, Mass Effect 1 was one of the best games they ever produced so....what happened with Mass Effect 2?
Exactly....half-a$$ed developing that's what, even though it's not entirely a bad game it went down hill like a sled on ice fast. The only improvement in ME2 was graphics and some minor control of the Normandy 2 and that's it. Anyone that argues against that fact only proves their ignorance.
Now with keeping those facts in mind how do any fans of Star Wars, (me included), can have any faith in what Bioware is going to spew out with SWTOR? Quite simply we can't and all we have as some evidence to go off of is what they been puking out lately.
When did 3.2 million DAO copies sold less than 2 months after release equal a big flop?
I thought DAO was so much fun I played it fully at least 3 times and expereinced the beginning of each race/class.
And ME2 was way more fun than ME1 for myself.
Sounds to me like you are not an RPG fan and more of an Action fan. SWTOR just isn't going to be your thing.
