A dedicated Age of Conan player created through screenshots a display of the beauty of the scenery in Age of Conan. Check it out!
The player Nexothep, from the German server Mitra, took a step back and combined together the mindblowing amount of over 70 000 screenshots (per video) to show One day in Hyboria in a three minute time lapse from different angles in the desert beauty Khemi and the icy lands of Conarch Village.

Such a fantastic looking game.
Yes indeed, sadly the gameplay is nowhere near the quality.
My gaming blog
All looks, no heart. That's the story of this game in 4 words.
It's a beautiful game. I liked how my character looked, but i wish she had an appearance tab so i could look how I want.
craig morrison and patch 1.05 ruined the game. it was a beautifully unique open world pvp game turned into bland run of the mill mmorpg that was basically f2p style content and grind with pretty graphics. mmorpgs with crappy money-grubbing directors who dont even play their own game or care about what players want deserve to have their game burn in hell.
i am enjoying every minute of watching your sinking ship funcom.

A day in the life of HyBOOORIA..zzzzz
Tried this game so many times. It just makes you feel like your driving on rails the whole time your playing..

To be an Age of Conan player is to have your heart broken at regular intervals. It is an absolutely stunning game to look at, and the nighttime quests in the beginning area of Tortage puts your character at the game's center. But once you're out of Tortage and trying to find your place in Hyboria is when the game's wheels fall off.
FunCom launced AoC too early, plain and simple. And since then they've been playing catch-up. But with a whole slew of MMO's set to be released it may get harder to do so.
Personally I believe that AoC will be the next game to go F2P.

Still a beautiful and well done video
good video a game does not make
I play the game still after 19 months. It's an awesome and unmatched MMO. I actually would go as fare as saying that you quiters are a bit over board with all your negativity. If you don't like the game, you don't like it, fair enough... But that does not mean that our growing guild isn't full of people loving it.
The Ultimate Breakdown
Beautiful video...almost made me want to resub to see Hyboria again. But then I remembered the clunky combat system, the grind, the lack of variety and my credit card stayed in my wallet. AoC frustrates the hell out of me because it is so nearly a great game. I keep feeling like I should barge into FC's offices and show them how to make it better, but I guess they don't really care any more.
Clunky combat system?
I don't get the complaints about the combat. I find the combat in AoC to be the best of any mmo that I've played.
AOC already is F2P. The first 20 levels are F2P with no time restriction.
