End Game?

pupurunpupurun Member UncommonPosts: 561

It's the third time i play the trial for FE and this time it's the closest i'll get to finally devote myself into playing this. And it's not the offer alone. For me starting and devoting my scarce free time on a MMO means that i will have fun and that my game time is invested towards a final result, a higher level of endgame quality. I am sure that playing FE is fun to me so far, but i am having second thought as far as endgame is concerned. And i don't mean dungeons.

So my question would be: What is the average gamestyle of an endgame player? What is the usual aim in the FE world?

Clan wars compete for anything? PvP happens for fun only? Is there a healthy market to justify the life of a crafter?

Well the way I see it FE is a semi-sandbox, so end game is kinda limited to what you want to do with your spare time.

    -Acheivements

    -Crafting the highest gear/vehicules/armor

    -Grind your faction

    -RP

    -Make alts

    -PvP

I mean this is the same for all game online atm, whatever the game once you reach cap, it`s always grind gear/faction/whatever untill you get it, and then what? Say you cap at WoW then start your raids, once you've killed those bosses and got your gear, then what?

That is why some people prefer sandbox like mmo's because there is no defined end game, on the other hand if you are used to theme park, you might wonder what's beyond your regular gameplay.

Basically end game is PvP for most people right now. You can control territory and there are nightly fights for that. You may not hear about that unless you are in an active clan, but I have lvl 50 clan mates fighting every day.

However, the other big thing to note is that end game is really still expanding. They are apparently on the final touches of sector four that will raise the level cap to 55 and have new end game dungeons.

The Devs have said also that they wanted to implement PvP changes and additions first (e.g. Bloodsports) and now they know that PvE content needs some new steam.
