EU servers placement

Many european servers for SOE games are placed in the US.. Seems like this game really wants low pings.. So in this case that might be a bad idea
Does anyone know where the EU servers will be located

No idea did some reading about that while ago and didnt find anything , indeed hope they gonna place them in europe and not in the us that would be pretty bad for this game.
Anyone got an answer for us on this question?

Just bumping this again, posting is going so fast today that my question ended up on page 2 again...
I really need an answer on this before wendsday, i will not play the game when the servers are on the US side of the Atlantic, I have played some MMO's there and 200 ms pings on average are just to much for this game, overhere in europe i am used to 50 ms pings, which would be awesome.

Wish i could help you but realy cannot say for 100 procent sure , i realy think their will be euro servers also the fact it seems like a pretty big soe release this time for them like eq 2 what also did have euro servers right? .
I did see some ps 3 movie with a german playing and the client of them was also translated to german text it did seem and mostly if a mmo does that they will also add servers located in germany for example or somewhere else in europe.
Only way to make sure is to wait till release or hope the official forums come up soon again , you are welcome to ask me in a pm or in the steamgroup i maked as soon i can login to the servers tommorow.

Yeah, SOE have their servers in Amsterdam
I know they have a server farm in Amsterdam that they use for French and German servers, but other than that as far as im aware if you want to speak English then all the servers are in the U.S. I believe Washington DC is where they have their international server farm.
But this is all based on past events from EQ2 and Vanguard, DCUO could be completely different.
It should be completely different as the action paced combat system requires low pings..;.
So my hopes are set on Amsterdam, at the Amsterdam internet exchange, the most Important Internet crossroads in europe... And offcourse very near to where i live, just North of Amsterdam.

All I know is it wasnt a problem in beta, and those servers were in US, so EU servers would only make it better.
