Should i get this game?

I've been suggested by a friend about this game and i'm a little low on cash is paying $50 to buy this game worth it to buy it immeditaly or be able to wait a few monts to get?

If your lookig for a free game, this is the way to go. However, WoW is
definitly worth the $15 a month more, it has more content and such. But
if you dont want to pay, I'd buy this.

That's just my opinion though. You might like GW compared to WoW no
matter what

it depends on how u intend on playing the game.if ur gona play GW non stop for months thers a chance u could get bored pretty quick.but if u only plan on playing like a few hours every now and then this is a game for u.personally id say its totally worth 50$

This game is worth it. I don't compare it to WoW because it just isn't the same... but if you like RPGs and Action (think Dungeon siege but evolved...) then this game is your cup of tea!

All i got to say is if you have many hours to put towards a MMO....get both(GW and WoW)...you will have the best of both worlds

. That way you wont get bored with just one game. If you dont have much time to put into a game, then get GW because that way you know your not paying for something your not playing...

Don't buy the game. Buy and account online and borrow your friends CDs to install the game (so you don't need to download).

Wow! The game like takes 30-1 hour to dl, rest is streaming always.

It's a good game, but it's somewhat boring to me. It would be tons better if they would make some system that you don't have to fight the same enemy over and over and over and over and over and so on.

This game never got me bored. 2 hours of Digital drawing on my computer sitting with a can of pepsi rushing the whole things just to play Guild Wars. I mean sure, the party and those kinda stuff might get boring but PvP won't specially with their new updated pvp maps. So buddy, get it right away! Really great game with no monthly fee! Cheers! ::::20::

Dont buy this game, its terrible! Read what some people say about this, so you dont get dissapointed. GW is overrated, and is not a MMORPG. This thread gives you a good view what expects you inside GW:

Concidering you gave him the link to a review wrote by some one who obviously dislikes the game and whoose oppion in the review will be biased yes thats exactly what to expect.

If you want to know whether to buy the game go to numerous different gaming sites and read reviews that people have wrote just that one.

Seriously........ it seems that you've already decided to buy the game, it's just a matter of when. Undoubtedly, the price will come down $10 in 3-4 months...... so the real questions are, can you sit on your hands that long until you get it, and is saving that $10 bucks worth the dents in your butt from sitting on your hands so long?? ::::06::

Overrated? Not a MMO? First of all, this game is highly rated due to its extensive features. Second, yes it is a MMO but they prefer not being called as one because the game is all about skills, stragety, and competition.

Yet.. another person who want to de-grade Guild Wars... *sigh*

I would put it this way: ig you like skill based PvP then go with GW, if you like classical MMORPG with equaly strong PvE or PvP then go with WoW.
