In a few weeks I will be enjoying the likes of the many SWG players out there. Im excited to be a part of a whole new world and game. WoW was just not cutting it for me. Looking forward to getting the game.

im not rude, i actually feel happy that people are still buying the game but i dont like corruption, these forums are so messed up, seriously, way too much threads should be closed down and teach people to start using search

Sorry, man, but you sounded even meaner and less welcoming that I do on a bad hair, high PMS day. I wouldn't have felt very welcomed to the forums seeing a greeting like that and my skin is thicker than most of that of the excited young nooblets that are going to be trickling in from Episode 3 (the return of the tastiness). I figure the game in and of itself will be more than enough disappointment for the poor sprouts. Why add the insult of being surly at them?

I hope every person who gets the game does come in here and post a brand new thread. This will push down the posts of @$$holes who have nothing but negative things to say about anything. Gratz on getting a new universe Unojc dont listen to bitter Star Wars nerds who didnt get a game designed around their play style. The game looks great and is great fun.

Welcome!! Welcome to StarQuest EverWars GlaxiesII. If you have enjoyed any other MMORPG's, then you will love this one. It is just like the rest, but with blasters. Like Anarchyart and Jimund said, just ignore us Star Wars geeks. We are bitter and we whine alot. But, we are Star Wars geeks after all, and now this game is not the Star Wars Galaxies we all bought and played. We don't want to be "Just-another-same-old-same-old-hack'n-slash-group-kill-level-repeat" geeks. SOE should have left SWG alone and then all us Star Wars geeks would too busy playing to post on the forums. Seriously though, welcome to SWG. I am sure you WILL have a great time. As a noob you have no expectations as to how the game should play, as long as it is fun. It is kinda like SWG was a BMW. You love your BMW but when the lease is up you have to trade it in. Well, BMW has been sold to Kia and now you have to drive this. It is still a car and a pretty good car. It just isn't the car you had and wanted to stay with. You know what I mean? Don't let us discourage you. I won't be there and a lot of my other Star Wars geek friends won't be either, but there are plenty of new players coming in with the release of the new movie. Now that I think about it. This is the perfect time to start playing this game because everyone is a noob. Also, there are plenty of really nice people to group with and most won't be trying to do any of that annoying "RP" that us Star Wars geeks like. It just takes away from time people could spend leveling up.
Bottom line?
Play, explore, and most importantly, have a great time!!! Please, I would hate to see anyone spend their hard earned money and not enjoy themselves.

Look, Anarchyart, you need to settle down. I'll be the first to welcome someone new to both the forums and the game that has backhanded me, DESPITE the fact that I hate what they did to it. As a matter of fact, THIS asshole has been a lot more welcoming, nice and supportive than some of you supposedly sophisticated gamer types who prefer it the way it's become. I certainly hope you act better in the game than you do here on the boards, because frankly, if I was starting out new in the game and got treated to the crap you dish out here, I'd have a pretty dim view of the game based on the player.
If you want to fling poodoo, go to the zoo and go play with the primates. M'kay? What is WITH kids these days?

though i havent played swg for month now because of financial problems and i havent never said anything negative about swg (as far as i remember), i simply love the game, i simply hate spammage on some forums

I have a standing invitation to every new player to start his character on Naritus server, where I can help you get started (equipment, ship, droids, money, in game advice etc.) ... no strings attached. If you want, you can join our player city and guild, but thats not required. You can reach me there as Novarider or Delos. If you start on any other server you can still talk to me when I am online by contacting me with /tell Naritus.novarider (followed by the text you want to type).
