My apologies if this question was answered before, I checked the f2p sticky but I couldn't find the answer to my question, so here goes, when I create a new account can I go ahead and buy MoM or do I have 2 buy the original game and then buy MoM?
thanks for the answers in advance.

No you don't have to buy SoA to buy MoM (infact I'm pretty sure the Turbine store doesn't even sell SoA by itself).
I'm gathering you intend to use your 30 day free play from MoM to level up through the original content to enter Moria? If not then the free zones by themselves won't be enough to get you to Moria without alot of grinding.
Generally if you go to one of the non-Turbine sites and pick up the MoM box there it comes as a joint pack of SoA/MoM anyway (Not that 'buying' SoA really does anything except get you some freebie items and 30 days free play). You'd probably save some money too getting it via Amazon or some other internet site - of course you end up waiting for the mail then :-)

Ty for the reply I was actually considering even paying a sub every now and then, I just wanted to start a warden, this is specifically why I wanted to buy MoM, as if I remember correctly its required to have MoM to make one yea?
Correct. MoM is required for the warden class.
While the Warden (and Rune-Keeper/Sith Lord) come with MoM, you can also buy it a la carte with turbine points (though MoM is the better deal if you can find a box)
R.I.P. City of Heroes and my 17 characters there
cant I just digitally buy MoM?
When he was refering to the box, he was refering to not getting it from the LOTRO store. If you get one of the older keys from the expansion it also came with one month subscription as well. In addition It is normally cheaper that way then from purchasing it on the lotro store.
