Is purchasing an account key online reliable?

If I buy a key online off NCsoft's page, would it be the same as buying a key retail? Is the client I downloaded off their page the full game client?

Yes, they just email you the key. The client is probably not that large either. I bought in store, so I can't confirm this, but if I understood correctly, the client can be downloaded in a small form, something like 20 MB. The rest would be streamed to you. Either way you go, you won't regret your purchase. A truly great game.
I bought an online cd key too and I'm happy, but I haven't checked my account since then.
How people are sure that they won't rip-off from you more money?
I bought my game from www.plaync.com and i'm very happy. Got my key, got the client download and was playing in a little bit later. I love the game and i'm very happy with the game and its service as well as PlayNC's service. I'm one of those ppl who toss all the junk in the box except the cd and the key, this just eliminates the cd. The only real major difference is that when I enter a new area of the game I have to download stuff from the server if its new information. The CD install doesnt' have to do that, the CD install just gets the updates from the server.
a guide for the quest lol there so easy u just follow the arrow... and for lvl 20 in less then 90 hrs i had it in less then 70 maybe even 60hrs
