Which they gonna do anyway. On top of the monthly fee.

Good for a few months and a once through. I've solo'd all the quest chains. I've ran 2 alerts but those are frustrating because people don't understand how to play their rolls. Everyone just wants to DPS Smash and that doesn't work.

Overall if you look deep below the surface you can see they had some really great ideas but the implementation of those idea's are very poor.   This game really should have been F2P with the option for SOE's ingame cash shop to nickel and dime people to death via cool weapons and masks and other mindless stuff.

Out of curiousity...how much did you group up to level 25?

Joined a group to defeat Fullhouse.

Area 51 once and completed it.

Attempted Monkey Island (?) once and wiped several times on the last boss because we didn't have a healer.

    So 3 times lol.

I bought it and am having a great time, especially on the PvP server.  And no I am not a griefer, more like a protector of those who get griefed.

Sure there are only "said number" of power sets. But you choose your power set, which comes with 2 branches of abilities you can spec into.  You get to choose you mode of travel, which also has its own trees that you can put ability points into, this included speed upgrades, attacks and defensive abilities.  Then you choose your weapon from 8? different choices, which also have their own tree that you can put points into.  Then you also get Iconic Powers, which you can put ability points into, that are innate or attacks or heal/attacks.

People talk about lack of powers, but powers are only a small part of the game.  Weapon combo/speeds, your travel style really effects how your character plays.

There are a good amount of clothing choices initially, with all the extra clothing options from dropped gear.  You can set your clothing to look one way while receiving the stats of your good gear.

Pvp is a lot of fun, I am enjoying the combat style of the game, though you are limited to..7? abilities on your bar at once so you cannot make full use of all your abilities at once.  I just wish the PvP ques were faster! (Maybe I should play at night more)

Quests are somewhat bland at times, but the instances in which you have to fight giganta or some other big villain is a lot of fun.  Alerts can be a lot of fun as well if you get people who play somewhat intelligently.

Though I am leveling pretty fast, the only staying power this game will have is if they release their monthly content updates or whatever they had promised.

I am entitled to my opinions, misspellings, and grammatical errors.
