edit: ok if you look at the other videos, you can tell the guy is just taking the piss.
just look at the tag of the videos, it still funny though, the counter strike beta is quiet funny too
I laughed my butt off all throughout that movie, but a good portion of that laughter can be attributed to the robo-voice.

Sounded just like your advrage WoW player just out for another day at the park, Level 1 and cry its to hard, running in and getting killed not waiting for team, again same old same old, complaining that people are OPed, check.
Dont get me wrong I like WoW I just HATE the morons that play it.
Actually the PVP is a heck of a lot of fun really, that video he is on a PVE server, at the beginnning if you read the chat box he flags himself and then asks in chat if anyone wants to pvp.
for the most part on the pvp servers, it is just plain fun at least for me

Couldn't make it to the funny part because the video in general was shit. If someone ain't using their own voice then it's not worth my time.
My problem with this is not the manchild's cursing (seriously, who swears that much in their normal day to day speech?), or them hiding their age behind robo-voice masking, nor the fact that he plugged wow before he was even loaded into DCUO
My problem with this. the game was released one week ago, one week, and already many people are at the level cap
Say what you will about people grinding and finding ways to speed their level advancement (ever notice that it's the people that bypass content in the name of levels that complain there's not enough to do?), making cap in less than a week outside of some serious exploits/loopholes is just... sad.
I was considering buying DCUO, I seriously was, but level cap -this- quickly? Even WoW isn't this easy-mode, unless, again, grinding/bypassing all content, and lame exploits.
I have a problem with this Video.
While in pvp, all the guy does is constantly, Hold Left mouse button, for the skill that knocks people down constantly... and does decent damage.
He didn't once use his skill powers, just 1 weapon move.
I'm not looking forward to pvp if this is what everyplayer will be doing.
You shouldn't have much of a problem, the guy was a bad player trying to fight other players that were equally bad, save for the guy that beat him who was pretty decent.
The flight charge attack was the power he was using, but it utilizes a decent amount of power, and if you block the damage is negligible. Then he was just lunging, everything was fly charge, then lunge, rinse repeat. Players were being steamrolled because they were rolling and lunge attacks will stun you and do extra damage when you roll.
This guy was an amateur based on the skills shown in this video. Block instead of roll, counter attack once hes stunned, the guy would have been down in under 30 seconds.

Yes.... almost all of the leveling process is obtained through alerts and quests. These simply tell stories and create a fun DC atmosphere. Once you hit 30 just like in most other MMOs out there alot of content opens up. You have to understand so much of the MMO field is about hitting level cap then starting the other half of the game. DCUO wants to add more end game and less getting there game. Atleast thats my current vantage I may decide that the end game is more shallow then I thought..... we shall see.
Anyone who has decided not to educate themselves on the concepts and mechanics of this game suffer the same fate. There are many guides outside of the game (and many people that can help inside game) that will help you understand. If you don't know how the combat works......then you don't know how to fight and in a pvp game like this one that is not going to end well for you.
Lol especially the end about the sexist picture...I mean really if your an artist being told to design a image of a female superhero, why would you not design a hot superhero, besides it sells :P

What noob spams just 1 skill over and over. Have you ever done PvP other then WoW? World PvP always has the risk of being ganked. Expecting to get a 1v1 and crying about it, is just stupid.
The UI and a few other things are really bad yes. Over all the game is new and not too bad. I played the beta a lot. I might have goten the game if I didn't like Rifts over it. Only thing I got out of this video is how bad of a player that guy was.
This is actually the first video the royal eyes has seen that made this game's melee combat seem interesting.

This guy is bad lol....PvP in DCUO isnt exactly complex, Sure it has its own mechanics but your pretty much explained 80% of the system in a tutorial your forced to go thru everytime u make a char...
The guys bitches cause one of his kills got away....his target was outta combat long enough to regain his speed mode and every class has a "Pull" skill in there power sets u can get....PvE server players probably dont need them i suppose....

Huh? u can get lvl 1-85 in WoW in less then 3 weeks. And didnt someone hit 80-85 in 4 hours?
