Think you know Star Wars: The Old Republic? If so, you'll want to test your mettle against The Drew Wood Quiz Power Hour and his tough questions about SWTOR. Take The Quiz and let us know how you did in the comments below.
While I am young enough to have missed the original Star Wars trilogy's full glory in theatres (I was born shortly before Return of the Jedi first hit silver screens), my love of the trilogy knows no bounds. It's why I played Knights of the Old Republic, and it's why I'll be trying The Old Republic. So sit back with a cup of hot cocoa, relax, put on your favorite John Williams score (might I suggest Empire Strikes Back?) and sink into that mystical world a long time ago, in a galaxy far...far away.

Easily got them all right.
Your lucky You where born before ROTJ or I'd have to kill you.
Anyone who was young enough to have seen SW in Episodic order should be culled
Got all but the announcmeny date right
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. - Douglas Adams
Only got the 2 relating to the game. SW sucks donkey nuts

I got all of them but the last one. It was pleasantly difficult, considering how easy the others were.
Playing: Heroes of Three Kingdoms
Played: WoW, DDO, Second Life, Diablo II,
Tried free trial: LoTR, Fallen Earth, EvE, Champions Online,
Here's a thought....since one of the quiz questions brings to light the fact that it has been announce 2 YEARS AGO....how about we get a release date already...????
No more stupid quizzes, or cinematic trailers which lend absolutely no credit to the game. Why do companies do cinematic trailers anyway. I thought that was Square Enix thing? You know where they show you a gorgeous cinematic, but the gameplay itself is lousy. Lets get going here.
The last question should have had a bonus for who voices him, since that's by far the more awesome fact.
Yeah, can't wait to hear some of the voice talent they will have. Jennifer Hale is the trooper, which is like RAWR Wanna play trooper now!
Well I truly hope the gamestop date s wrong cause it shows 12/20/12 as the ship date. I am not sure I can wait over a year till it comes out
got them all right. i wonder if that mean i've been fallowing the game to closely
I'm proud to say that I did not know one single answer! Not that I don't like SW:ToR or that I won't play it but after so many collosal let downs in the last three years I totally refuse to get caught up in the hype machine for any game. If I go into the game with no preconceived notions I can't be let down.

ok all check out G4 websit and look up old republic there cuz there saying april 1st? is that a gessing date they doing?
Release dates are all guesses at this point....we can only hope at PAX East in March we will get a tenative release date... till then I will just look forward to attending PAX.
Well what we know of release has it definately not before April as EA confirmed it will not be this fiscal year EA did also state it will be 2011, Bioware still state a spring release and Spring ends roughly June 21st so using that logic we can expect to see it any time between mid April and mid June. My money is still on mid May Lucasarts has a penchant for those mid May releases.
Nice little quiz. Did pretty good and got surprised by one answer. Thanks for the fun.
"If half of what you tell me is a lie, how can I believe any of it?"
that wasnt even hard. 100% gime a hard one
I'm looking forward to this one and I still got one and a half wrong. I don't pay attention to dates so I got the announcement date wrong and I only got the 'Gnost' part right on the last question. I would agree that who voices Master Gnost Dural is a much more awesome fact than the name of the character.
@Siecefire: A game being released two years or more after announcement isn't unusual. Don't act like that's such a shocker.
Edit: Oh, and they've had a targeted release date of Spring 2011 for just about a year now.
I'm not interested in trivia. I'm interested in playing this game. When are they going to announce a release date. Or, at the least, give us a general idea.
Everyone complains about this but yet this is how almost every good mmo has been... WoW was anounced like 4 years before its release and was postponed as well... The sooner people realize this the sooner they can chill out and enjoy the anticipation....
