    What you need to know is they already sent out the invitations for this weeks beta, so if you get the key today your not going to be in the beta for mid week.

     Most likley, the invitations went out yesterday... although I suspect that theyre still maybe some going out over the next 2 days.

    Just so YOU know, I got a VIP key today and applied it, my account updated, I was able to download the game, install it and login to the server select screen.

     

    So unless I'm going to be stopped at some point after the server select screen, it would appear you can still apply VIP keys.

    I checked yesterday at 5pm GMT and there were no invites. It must have happened after this time.

     Because they send you an email notifying you that you been invited to the beta.  If you get the email you have to agree to the eula, befrore it will let you download.

    I got my invite last night for this round, and unless they changed the way they send out beta invites then if you applied your key today your probably not going to get the email.

    But if you said it let you download the game then your in as you got to agree to the eula first.

    Yes but how do you know that they won't continue to send out invites until Tuesday. They have staggered invites throughout the beta process. Which leads me to believe that you don't know and are in fact speculating.

    Just to confirm that they still are sending out invites, I just received my invite via email at  now 11:08 AM EST. I applied the code that OP provided at around 10:38 AM.

    you are completely wrong.

     

    they send out beta event invites even while the event is going on.  my preorder account got the invite immediately where as my second account that had a plain beta code didnt get the invite till the day before the event. and a friend of mine got in the day of beta.

     

    so apply those codes people, you will get in.

    If you apply the VIP before the beta event starts you will have access to the beta. Trion sends out batches of beta invites daily even during the beta event. Just apply the VIP key to your account.

    Just check you Trion account every once in awhile and sign the EULA when it appears.
