Combat compared to DCUO?

I really like the combat in DCUO

Combo Counter

Block

Roll

Movement abilities

Get knocked around a lot

Stuff like that make the game a blast to play.

 

Does Tera have any features that?

Or do you just Circle Strafe and Kite to avoid attacks?

    Combo Counter...yes mostly knockdown counters, with follow up abilites

    Block ...yes for Lancers and Berserkers

    Roll...Certain classes yes, such as Warrior,  not sure what other classes can do it

     

    Tera's combat is a blast to play, the problem with the game lies in the extreme cookie cutter approach they decided to take with the skills sets(very linear), Limiting Class roles (role a Priest and all you will ever be is a priest),  Quest structures (kill 10 boars...no im not even kidding about that), and generic PVP battlegrounds. (PVP sucks at this point, unbalanced, no goals, mechanics are bad)

    Most people including myself are hoping EnMasse will have some creative influence on the Westerinization of the game, but being a focus group tester, I wouldnt get my hopes up.  I just want a smooth release and active GM'ing of Gold farmers and there army of bots.
