I found three pictures of Einstein quotes that I thought applied to the MMO genre.

My fave one has to be the paying more for something we get for nothing. Reminds me of Free 2 Play games and how they make you pay so much to get the full experience out of the game.

For those that dont want to click the linkies the quotes are:

Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen.

Sometimes one pays most for the things one gets for nothing.

Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.

Drop the next-gen marketing and people will argue if the game itself has merit.

"Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen."

I think that applies apply to this thread.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it is bad.

Good quotes. I like the quote saying "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but never simpler."

WoW did this, but people QQed saying its too easy, yet at the same time, they QQ about Lich King being too hard.

I agree with this post. The annonymity and accessibility of online communication has made most people to quick to "share" their thoughts, feelings, and opinions. In "real life", people wouldn't say half the things they write on the web for fear of being laughed at, ignored, or physically pummeled.

Einstein should have stuck with physics; I wouldn't even put these sayings in a fortune cookie.

Here's something from the Tech Industry's (and Wall Street's) favorite person; Steve Jobs (CEO of Apple)

You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.

My sig says it all. Its the quote i use all the time when im looking at a new mmo.

Benjamin Franklin wrote the best quote to use for MMOs in development.
Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.

The most appropriate Einstein quote I can think of for MMOs is...

"There are only two things that are infinite - the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not certain about the universe"

    Ok.

I can see what you were thinking when you said "how these apply to MMORPGs." A lot of things I see in real life apply to MMORPGS. I'm surprised at your wasting time on looking at quotes to go into MMORPGs.

    But nice share.
