I don't normally play PvP but didn't mind Warhammer and the format they had for it.
So will I like this game? Will people play this one for the PvE quests or will everyone be looking to kill each other?

PvP and PvE are separate.
Couldn't tell you if you like it or not. I can tell you that, from the information we have so far, there will be plenty of things to do in PvE. I cannot, however, tell you that you will like it. You'll just have to decide whether or not you like it when you buy the game .
I'm a PvE player mainly myself, and I'm looking forwards to this game!
Just read up as much as you can, there is a wealth of information that should satisfy your need.

It depends on what you want in a game.
While GW2 have 3 large different types of PvE it also differs from most other MMOs.
You can choose to play their personal story that is mostly regular PvE, most will probably solo it but it is scaling and mainly instanced.
Then there is the dynamic world, no quests exactly but a lot of stuff will happen out there and you can join people without acvtually grouping with them. This place have a lot of mobs that would be raid bosses in other games. It is hard to describe in a few words, read more about it on GW2s homepage.
Then there is of course dungeons.
But the reason why you don't might like it is because it is not focused on items but on skills and attributes instead. Also is combat a bit different, you can dodge, fight while you move and parry. You select skills from a large list together with some automatic skills you get depending on your class and weapon.
This game is very different from WAR but you must really try it to see if you like it or not. But they will have a free weekend before release so youll get the chance to try out the basic and see what you think.
Romanator0 is right. PVE and PVP are totally separate. The world with its 1500-1600 dynamic events (no quests) is purely cooperative. They're doing everything possible to eliminate griefing in all forms. Players work together to accomplish events that scale in difficulty based on the number of participants. Everybody gets rewarded for their contribution. There's no kill stealing or ninja looting. Professions will be able to combo with one another in many different ways (I think I read 100+ but not sure) in order to work together visually and effectively, even with people who aren't grouped with you.
Other people are right in that it's up to you whether you like it or you don't, but the game won't just be about rushing through the PVE content to reach some kind of all PVP endgame.

Lol, there will still be people that will be in "mad rush to get to max level!!" Just either to say "first" or cos they like a feeling of accomplishment. I don't know, doesn't apply to me. I like taking my time with a game, learning it for myself as well is a big thing for me.
Like I said, I like the look of this game, and I'd recommend it from what I've seen. Of course it could play out totally against me and I might just look like an idiot for saying this is one of my most looked forward to games.

Thanks guys, I will be buying this game. I played the first one and it was ok but I couldn't often find groups for PvE. I found plenty I liked though about the game.
I will PvP occasionally but I am PvE first and foremost and am willing to give this game a go.
I have a feeling it will be best MMO to be released this year.
HECK YEAH YOU WILL LIKE THIS GAME!!! lol
Post above provide the answers already.
From comparing it with WAR, the things in war you may have liked: rvr lakes connecting to pve, pq's kinda interesting content, lore is very good in this game, art-style is good even if the graphics are sometimes not perfect and some of the combat was fun eg classes interesting. GW2 will I think, improve on all of those aspects. In fact a key difference is improving the choice you have in all areas and all areas working as they should without having to balance/solve the problem of affecting another part of the game adversely which is what WAR ended up having issues with even though it was half-way towards being a good game.
However content quantity it could feel a bit smaller, is possible but quality it will be many times more polished I reckon eg you won't have that terrible lag. WAR haf a lot of barren areas also, I think GW2 will feel a lot more alive environment and more active with players using all the content also. I think WAR's Gamebryo engine was a terrible choice as well and ArenaNet's own engine combined with some of the other tech they have added will make the performance a lot happier than what war sometimes dealt with also. But both have great art and lore and story all should be resounding for PvE.
