Looking for a HELPFULL guild/server PLEASE :(

eggskineggskin Member Posts: 18

Ok, EVERY server I've tried NOBODY will help me with quests. Nobody will group with me, etc. I've tried carebear and pvp servers. I'm just looking for a good guild that will help me and I can in return help them, and vice versa. The highest level I have is a level 14, soloed, pretty sad. Anyway if there is a helpfull guild out there on ANY server I'll join that server. I just wanna have fun with this game. I LOVE wow but I'mma end up quiting if I don't find some loyal helpfull friends soon. :(

Preferably horde side please.

Hit me up on aim or msn PLEASE.

Thanks for listening. :)

Well, I think a lot of players prefer to solo up until level 20ish.  Then group for instances and quests.  As you start getting into the levels where it is absolutely necessary to group to complete a series of quests, you will begin to meet people and possibly group with them in the future or join their guild.  But realize when you say looking for a helpful server, there really is no such thing.  In an online community, anonymity tends to bring out the worst in people.  There are some people willing to help, to a point.  But don't expect too much, and try to accomplish things yourself.

Welcome to the reality of WoW, I don't think anyone ever groups, from what I've seen its solo to 60.

True, but I mean there's just certain quests I can't solo. Like the noob scarlet missions I BARELY soloed that. The family crypt quest I had to pay someone to help me with that. I'm just looking for a guild that would help me with a quest or two every once in a while.

I mean should I grind up until I can complete a mission that I got 2 or 3 levels ago? Do people even grind a lot on this game or solo quests? Cause I heard you NEED parties to do instances. So, I dunno I guess I just suck and am lost or something.

I've played every mmorpg besides COH, and I dunno everyone just seems to be such an as*hole (dunno if I can cuss here) on this game. I actually tried joining 2 different guilds to see if they were helpfull. It's not like I wouldn't return favors. This crap just isn't fun and I'mma end up quiting if I can't find some cool people. I realize that nobody probably cares but I'm just stating facts. ;)

When I was levelling up, I grouped for every elite quest I had. It wasn't hard just spammed lfg 'quest name' in general and usually fairly quickly someone responded. I've had the game since release though so I'm not sure what it's like now with people levelling alts.

I don't think anyone uses the new meeting stones, good idea but waste of development time really.

They've linked the meeting stones to inns next patch, I imagine a lot of people will start using them now. I never did before because I found my groups in IF.

It's true that help is sometimes hard to find. A lot of people just grind away, till they are 60 and then just move to the next char or getting bored. Luckely I setup a guild with RL friends and people who wanna join. On the moment I group very much.
In the beginning (now lvl 38) I did some things alone but also a lot in groups. Just meet someone your own lvl en quest together.
I could say join our guild, but then again, the lowest in our guild is lvl 22.....and I don't mind helping lower lvl's, but not too long. Sometimes I still play WC just with some guildies who need things there or other lower instances.

I'm on Suramar and I run a guild called THE KNIGHTS OF SURAMAR. We're relativey new (about 10 members), but we're affiliated with THE ALLIANCE. We're also for ages 20 and up, because most of us have had pretty negative experiences with guilds with younger members.

Rather than rehash what we're about, you can visit our website: http://www.guilduniverse.com/theknights.

Also, I agree with the comment that most people solo up through level 20. I've only grouped a few times in order to serve as a tank for a mage or other range combatant.

Maybe I'll see you around the server.

I dunno, I just hit lvl 16 on Lightning's Blade. Not too bad. Guess I'll just do what quest I can solo and save the other ones until later. Like this recipe of death one. That one is HARD to solo. So I dunno what I'mma do, thnx for everyone's help/input. ;)
