Sony Online Entertainment President John Smedley has been busy on his Twitter account this week. He's posted a second screenshot from Planetside Next, this time of a Galaxy aircraft of some type. Check it out!

    So the game comes out in the next 5 to 10 weeks, and all they can show us is concept art.  No screenshots?

    Wonder what they're hiding.  Lol.  It is SOE.

    Planetside was so awesome way back when it was new , still love the art style old , new doesnt really matter just wanna play some PS with my buddies.

    looks sweet , i loved planetside, i hated the way sony dumbed it down and then abandoned it.

    now planetside is full of hackers and low pops.. shame really.

    agreed.. should they get it back in to shape i'd be back in a second... I was one heck of a galaxy pilot back in the day. Not many liked that job but for me it gave a ceartin sense of acomplishment to tuck it in at places it was not ment to go to give the squad as good fo a run as i could.

    the galaxy new look more like a liberator... go blue (idk if u notice but it kinda look like same ride as in halo)

    Those screen shots make the units look... Date.  Not graphically. But I mean the art style makes them look like they've been used and abused. Makes me wonder if this is infact a completely new "relaunch" of planetside with a new graphics engine. Server set up. and units.

    well, the original PS had a primitive system of graphically marking damaged vehicles (basically some "hole" textures glued ontop of the regular ones, and blackened "burned" textures... maybe they just perfected that... it wouldn't be believable to spawn new vehicles that look already used and damaged :P
