CLARIFICATION: We received this from the APB: Reloaded team to clarify any confusion:

We believe some of the recent invitations sent out by GamersFirst regarding APB may have been misleading. As we have read on several news posts, GamersFirst has NOT released any keys or sent out invitations for APB: Reloaded closed beta.

As of now, no formal date for the APB closed beta has been released and no keys have been distributed. We expect the closed beta to come out near the end of February. We recommend gamers sign up for announcements on the APB site: http://www.gamersfirst.com/apb/ so that they can get a chance to participate in the closed beta and receive any news or updates.

Those who were former players of APB and/or those who signed up for the beta since GamersFirst took over the game may want to check their inbox for a beta invite. Folks who receive a beta invite must sign up officially for inclusion in February's closed beta.

You're one of the first to be invited to sign up for the Closed Beta launch of APB: Reloaded! Sign up today for your chance to be a Closed Beta tester. Remember, if you don't sign up, you won't have the chance to be one of the first to take back the mean streets of San Paro.



When you sign up, we'll make sure you receive the latest APB news, including information about restoring your old character.

    This doesn't mean your invited into the beta definatly...

    This was posted on the official facebook page just an hour ago:


    Yesterday we sent emails to players who previously had game accounts with RTW. These were not "beta invites", they were notifications regarding our acquisition of APB Reloaded. Beta invites will go out in a few weeks, so don't panic if you didn't get an email this week!

    No, the game will be F2P. They also said they will try to make up for the people who bought the game by giving the customization options that otherwise have to be bought or something like that.

    Why do you buy games that you don't know you're going to like?  See... I only buy games that I research and that I thusly know that I WILL like.

    I bought APB, I loved the time I had in APB. I look forward to more time in APB. 

    If you bought the game and you didn't like it? Why don't you learn to research what you buy......

    See. Thats just fantastic.

    So many awesome things had been made in RTW's APB.

    I look forward to seeing the Mystery Machine speed down the San Paro streets again with a bunch of dudes hanging out of it shooting automatic weapons.
