Tera= Aion +AoC?

The game looks phenomenal and appears to have extreme depth.

Also it seems as if there is going to be 6 player factions...

 

Not to mention awe inspiring graphics...any input?

To the caterpillar it is the end of the world, to the master, it is a butterfly.

    I hope it's not a combination of those 2 games.  The only thing I even remotely liked about Aion and AoC were the graphics/music.  The gameplay mechanics and instancing and grinding...I would rather play FFXIV.  And that's saying something.

    6 races yes, but no factions.

    So far the combat, animations, and graphics look great.  I'm seeing a few bugs here and there and class imbalances but not too bad for a new ip.

    Tera = 0.5 Aion - 2 x WOW ÷ 3 Lotro x √ EQ2 + 2 x AOC - WAR = π

    I don't see Aion in Tera at all, nice constructive thread. Tera = Tera. The combat is actual real time unlike in AoC where it was fake. If anything play mount&blade and get used to timing your attacks to perfection.

    Mount and Blade combat is much better and more realistic than Teras.

    Agreed, M&B seems to have been made at least under supervision from someone with real melee skills. Tera seems more to be made by someone who watched a lot of anime.

    But I don't know if it is "better" until I tried both myself.

    Well if you would actually read, you'd see I wrote get used to timing your attacks. That's what M&B is all about, timing. And Tera is also real time, so you could charge into a bunch of mobs and just hit everything.
