This is too bad. I had high hopes for this game and played for a while after it first released.
A great concept realized by people not capable of producing a quality product.
It's been six months now and it seems Star Vault is not going to be able to fully stabilize this game, say nothing about polishing it. For me it's time to move on to another sandbox style PvP game, I guess.

Whatever happens to this game, I hope they made at least a small profit... but one thing is for certain, I'll never buy another game from them.
I think there are some hobby developers that could make a better game.
Minecraft
As someone who maintains a minecraft server for about 5-10 people, I had to lol at this. I gotta rollback about once a week...
I don't see that as an apt comparison considering that the entire game was basically developed by a single person, from scratch, engine included. And at least they label it "beta".

And? The game is like $10, not $100, no subscription, and has a ton more features implemented.
Minecraft multiplayer is extremely buggy. Are we pretending that's not the case?
Also: MO doesn't cost 100 dollars, and if I remember I paid more than $10 for minecraft.
MO did cost 100$ at release, and Minecraft did cost about 5-10 eur for me when it was in alpha. Nonetheless, the MP in MC is less bugged then MO atm, with tons more sand. And considering the team sizes of both developers, we got a clear winner (protip, its not SV).
want SV to take their time with patches, and fix all bugs before releasing it.

I want SV to rush out quick patches. I can deal with bugs as they come.

Sad that 28% want the cycle to continue. But, I guess they find MO lacking in its current state and feel anything is better than nothing. (slow/delayed)

Do you still need this answered? Server ended up being down for 48 hours and now the game is unplayable.
While you might find this outcome surprising, many saw it coming. (past history+ testing on live server)

At this point, UO freeshards are more attractive then MO for "UO feeling". For the rest of us, there's the new boy Perpetuum on the block.

Here is another thread where the customers are asking SV to please do a better job of testing patches before release:
